Plasticky but v pretty.
It's plasticky but very pretty! It was £9.80 when I bought it and I don't regret it as I've never had a rosary with a locket before. Pretty colour and attractive crucifix. Arrived in a handsome purple velour pouch. A loop came loose within two minutes but I make rosaries so I knew how to fix it.

Very Feminine Appearance
I did like the look of the beads on the webpage but handling them in person was a completely different experience. They struck me, as a man, as incredibly feminine. I especially couldn't ignore the locket. I wouldn't mind using these rosary beads in the house however I feel embarrassed at the thought of using them outside the house. I really didn't expect to react this way, when I first saw them but it is what it is. I have a slight nitpick to add as well: the clacking of these beads sounds different. It's not the clacking I'm used to when using other, solid-bead rosaries. The clacking of these beads sounds kind of plastic so it feels cheap to me, which is unfortunate. Overall, if I was a woman, I think I'd be mostly satisfied with this purchase. My dislike has been a surprise but it is what it is. At least it still works as intended.

Me ha gustado , aunque las cuentas son más pequeñas de lo que creía. En la foto se ven más grande. Pero cumple la función de ser un buen rosario para llevar en el bolso o en el bolsillo con su bolsita de terciopelo. Para regalo es ideal, seguro que los niños de primera comunion les gustaria tener un rosario tan bonito como éste.
