Our almost 14 year old long-haired dachshund got his first ear infection ever. I think it was caused by his bath and I applied a topical treatment to some dry spots he had since he’s got some chronic dry skin issues. I guess the moisture caused. I felt HORRIBLE. Bath one night, the next day, raging ear infection. Must not have been dry enough to apply his “itchy medicine” and we’ve come a long way with his skin using a supplement and switching food so the topical treatment is for the trouble spots as the pop up. Anyways, I panicked. Grew up with dog but my dog has not ever had an ear infection and this was bad! Red, swollen, inflamed, draining...I hate taking him to the vet because it causes him such anxiety and it has typically ended in expensive bills just for walking in, let alone any treatments they may or may not do. I went to Amazon and began searching for an affordable and effective treatment because this ear infection had him so out of sorts and not himself. I found this. I was hopeful but cautious despite reviews because he does have sensitive skin. It arrived next day in great new condition. I immediately set to work cleaning our little guy’s ear. He hated me for it because the ear infection was so bad, but after one application we saw results. Inflammation calmed down, less drainage and swelling. We’re now on day three and his ear is almost back to normal after twice daily cleaning. The first time was the worst because I really went to work cautiously cleaning his ear and making sure we got everything wiped down with this stuff and then dried off. Now he’s letting me look at his ear again without shaking and hiding, and last night he let me gently wipe it down and we were done. I cannot praise this enough! I even used it to clean his other ear as a preventative to make sure we don’t have another ear infection. It doesn’t seem to cause any sting and the odor is very light. I just apply to a cotton pad and gently swipe until he’s all cleaned up. I have already recommended to my mom because my parents have two dogs with long ears. This is such a miracle product. We saved money and anxiety, he’s doing sooooo much better. Possibly the best pet purchase I’ve ever made. We were out of our realm of knowledge with a severe ear infection and this has done amazing so quickly! Recommend highly! Especially since we have a senior dog with sensitive skin and no previous issues. It’s fool proof! I am beyond happy he is finally feeling like himself again and we can use this as a preventative cleaner too. Buy it. You won’t regret it!!!

This has saved me extra trips to the vet for my dog’s seasonal allergy-related ear irritation. I warm the bottle before administering the solution in his ears, and even though I think it’s still a bit uncomfortable going into my dog’s ears it definitely helps with his itching and irritation, and seems to help prevent him from developing ear infections.

Our Husky is 8 years old and he never had any issues with his ears until now. He underwent surgery a couple of weeks ago and was recuperating really well. One morning he was kicking his left ear as hard as he could and the right ear was not as upright as usual. Upon closer inspection we found scabs in the left ear, from where he scratched it open, it was warm to the touch and red. The right ear looked irritated. After calling his Veterinary I ordered this antiseptic ear cleanser and followed the instructions given. They were the same as on the bottle. Within one day the right ear was perfectly fine again and the left ear wasn't as red and most of the scabs were gone. Our Husky was no longer in discomfort, which was the most important part. Five days in and both ears look healthy, no redness, no scabs and our Husky is no longer bothered by them at all. This cleanser has no strong odor, which is nice. Our Husky doesn't particularly like getting his ears cleaned, to put it mildly, so this one step cleanser is great. No sticky residue is left behind and you don't need a lot of cotton balls to dab the ear dry. I will cleanse his ears once per week from now on to keep them healthy with this product. So wish me luck, because he won't look at me a lot afterwards, lol.
