Blue Buffalo Dental Bones Small Natural Dental Chew Dog Treats Bag Value Pack

I have been getting these for my dog for a while on subscribe and save with Amazon. I love the product and my Vet says at four years of age my dog has excellent dental hygiene. I've just taken these off of subscribe and save and will be buying them from another company. I'm cutting back on what I buy from Amazon this year because of their new stance on DEI.

Have a standing order for these treats. These strips are one of two treats my little dog will reliably take. I have wasted so much money on other treats that she just doesn't like. I am OK with giving them to her because there are only three ingredients: duck breast, glycerin and salt. As this is not a reconstituted product (which I like) the strips come in varying sizes so sometimes I need to cut them. I use kitchen shears to do that. They are pretty tough which I think is one of the things my dog likes about them, they give her a chew challenge. They are relatively costly for a dog treat, but well worth it for me. All of the biscuit things that are out there are just not of interest to her. I would rather be giving her high quality protein. They last well unrefrigerated and she seems to love the taste, so it is a winner for me.

I get a bag of the Blue Buffalo Dental Bones every month. I just received November's delivery along with my other subscribe and save items. This bag has an expiration date of October 2025. The last bag I received had a date of July 2027. I'm writing this on October 30. My pup chews one every night after dinner and loves them.

My two small dogs seem loved these treats. I would give them each a half when they come back in from doing their business outside. So as much as I can speak for my dogs they really seem to like them. I know Blue Buffalo pride themselves on make healthier treats and food for dogs and these being “all natural” these treats stick to that mantra. I have tried several of these products for my dogs to improve their breath and over all dental health and these seem to be one of the best I’ve tried for my dogs and are one of the healthiest options. I have noticed that with other products my dogs can start having constipation issues or digesting them at all (I’ve had more than one experience with my dogs throwing up chewed up bone or treats like this). I didn’t have either problem using these treats. These treats are on the more expensive side as far as dog treats go, but you are getting what you pay for. Put good in, get good out sort of thing. I have tried other brands of “dental aids” for dogs and you can’t get much better than this product. There was a big change in their breath smelling better and never had any issues of throwing this treat back up. I will totally be buying these again. My dogs enjoyed them and so will yours and you can have a little more piece of mind that your dog is getting a more nutritional snack.

We were introduced to this by a friend whose dog eats these regularly. They are now our favorite dental bone. They aren't the cheapest but they are worth it for the quality and quantity, Our pup never turns them down, they help with keeping his teeth clean and overall oral hygiene, and they don't turn his poop green like some other brands.

I have a Shih Tsu and he takes one everyday. It is very good for his teeth and a good snack at the same time. He takes a couple minutes to go through one. Very good price to get them on Amazon in comparison to other stores.

See update below I went searching for a new once-a-day dental chew after Nylabone changed their recipe late last year on the bone we had been using but didn't have the courtesy to tell their customers. Really, not even a "new recipe" label on the bag. Goodbye Nylabone. So we tried a couple different bones. Ho hum responses from the dogs. The last attempt was these Blue Buffalo Bones. The dogs went crazy. They take their treats and then run,, and I do mean RUN to different areas of the house to eat the bone alone so the other doesn't get any of the "shrapnel" that might beak off before they do. So funny to watch. They love these to say the least. We'll be buying more Blue Buffalo Dental Bones. UPDATE: I reordered these bones from the same listing in "my orders" on Amazon and this time I received a different product. It turns out my first review above was about "Blue Bones" (small) that come in the blue package. What I received this time was the small Blue dental chews in the yellow package. The dogs like the chews but are not over the top crazy about them like they were the Blue Bones. I have posted a pic of both. The Blue Bone is the larger of the two. There were 27 small sized Blue Bones in the 27 oz package. The Blue dental chew - small size - had 46 bones in the 27 oz bag. Which will I order next time? I think I'll go for the Blue Bones.
