Theyโre hot
I make hot sauce out of these, I typically buy them from a local seller but decided Iโd try and find some online. Iโve only compared them to 2 other brands, but the smell was really nice and strong, they didnโt smell old or stale. They crumbled very nicely, and the sauce came out pretty hot. Hotter than the other 2 brands Iโve used but these did come with a very minor bitter aftertaste. It did not linger long though. Overall the flavor, smell, and heat level were good. Canโt go wrong with them.

Very Spicy and Yummy
These are truly the best peppers you'll ever come across! They offer excellent value as well. I grind these peppers and blend them with a mild hot sauce, creating a perfect addition to any dish. If you're not a fan of spiciness, be cautious as these are seriously hot. I strongly advise handling them outdoors and wearing gloves

Bought for squirrel combat
So, we live on a lake and have water on our property. We like songbirds and do our best to feed them with bird feeders but the rats and squirrels are just relentless at raiding the bird feeders for bird seed. We bought these super hot dried peppers for the purpose of discouraging mammals from raiding the bird seed. These peppers have one of the highest capsaicin (heat chemical in peppers) levels of any pepper so we chopped up a few of them with gloves on and added them to a mason jar of olive oil. Capsaicin is oil soluble so it was just a matter of time before the heat got into the oil to make hot pepper oil. Now, when we mix up some bird seed for the feeders, we add a good teaspoon of hot pepper oil and mix the seeds and oil up in a gallon zip lock bag. We also add a little powdered cayenne pepper to the mix to evenly coat the seeds. Birds are not affected by capsaicin at all. Peppers depend on birds to spread their pepper seeds far and wide. It's only mammals that are affected by hot peppers. So, when a squirrel or a rat tries to eat the hot pepper coated seeds, they get a few bites in and then regret the decision and scamper away, looking for water. It only takes a time or two of feeding on hot pepper oil seeds to dissuade them from returning to the feeder. It does not otherwise harm the varmints in any way. Long live hot peppers.

Perfect for cooking
Didn't know what to expect, but definitely worth the investment if you like spicy. A small portion of this pepper will dramatically change the spice level of you food without changing the flavor characteristics of your dish. So far have added to bean recipe, chicken soup, and chilli batches that I cooked from scratch, more or less. Another great arrow in my spice quiver!

Do not miscalculate this product. Do not touch your eyes after touching this product. Enjoy responsibly with a glass of milk, or ice cream. Have eye drops and other first aid ready if needed. I grind this pepper with my Peugeot Passion Red Pepper Mill. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WXSPVSS Tastes great on avocado toast.

Wouldn't suggest just eating the pepper if this is your first time trying one.
The flavor honestly to me was pretty nasty, but the spice was definitely there. I took a little bite out of one and my tongue was on fire for about an hour. But it goes good to mix with a good sauce or something if you're just looking for the spice because the flavor wasn't there for me. The spice was probably hotter than anything I've eaten but not that hot. Due to this fact, you might freak out when it starts to get hot. Just relax, drink milk(might take a few cups to get you satisfied lol), bread also helped, and of course ice cream. If you can't tolerate heat and are just looking for this to try a pepper you saw on youtube DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Because like I said, the flavor isn't there for me( though i did get used to the bitter sweetish flavor eventually) and I want you to enjoy the product not just buy it to try something you saw a hot head do and now you think you're a hot head. If you're a hothead looking for flavor I suggest making a sauce or buying a sauce because once again... THEY DON'T TASTE GOOD!!!
