I have barely been able to turn my head for the past 2 years. I haven't been to a doctor for it, but my neck was so stiff that the slightest turn hurt. Bending it to pop my neck was impossible. The pain was excruciating. I decided to try this as a last resort, and I've finally got relief! My neck is still slightly stiff, but the pain is nearly gone, and my range of motion has gotten so much better. I also have bad hips and this has helped those as well. This is going to be a new staple in my daily supplements! Update: I put this on subscribe and save and have been taking it religiously for the past 6 months. My range of motion has returned to normal and the pain and stiffness is gone. I know it's awful to do, but I can finally pop my neck without pain, which is huge for me because I suffer from chronic migraines and popping my neck actually provides some relief from them, so this supplement has felt like a miracle for me. My hips still have problems during long walks or hiking, but the pain has improved some there as well, but I mostly started taking these in hopes of helping my neck pain, so for that it's been a win!

I've taken glucosamine for a little over a year now, with little to no change in my condition. Before taking this matter up with my doctor and taking the next step (shots, physical therapy, surgery, etc), I decided to try another brand of glucosamine from a different seller to see if that would change. To be frank, I opted for Orphic mostly due to the price. Yet, once I read the ingredient list, I decided that it was worth a shot. I'd heard Turmeric worked to relieve inflammation and pain, and that sold me right there. As with any new supplement, I decided to give Orphic a 6 month trial run in order to give the product a fair assessment. One never knows how one's body will react right? Turns out, I didn't need the 6 months. I was barely at the 2 week mark when I began noticing the effects. Marked reduction in inflammation and pain, especially at night, marked reduction in the "rice krispie" crackling, marked reduction in incidents of bursitis (knee-popping and swelling), what used to be near-constant aches and pains are now practically non-existent even during inclement weather. All without taking the extra doses. Let me remind you, this is personal experience. It may be different for someone else. But, from what I could tell, this stuff rocks.

These glucosamine capsules actually work. After a week or two your knees stop sounding like someone crumpling a grocery bag and you can stand up without negotiating with your own skeleton. They are easy to swallow and there is no weird aftertaste, which already puts them ahead of half the supplements out there. And just like people who think their phone shoots film, your joints do not magically fix themselves without real chemistry. Film is chemistry, digital video is sensors, and this stuff is basically the chemistry version for your knees. No celluloid here, but at least the science is real, unlike calling every video a film. Good supplement, solid results, and a little reminder that film and digital video are not the same thing.

Husband swears by this. Joints are not as tight and back does not hurt as much. Will continue use

For about 4-5 months, I've been taking this with the Turmeric supplement as well which contains additional MSM. I've actually noticed some improvement in my hands/wrist which had some arthritic pain. While I've taken NSAIDs for years to deal with inflammation from programming, I think this really did help prevent inflamed joints from hurting as much. There has not been any positive impact on my knee or hip which have had joint pain for over 10 years. I appreciate that this is all made in America with high purity standards, however, it's expensive for just a single month. They also recommend double doses for the first 2 weeks for a better start (6 capsules each day), so 2 bottles would get you through 6 weeks total. There are other providers of pure glucosamine / chondroitin / MSM with more doses for less money. I had this setup for auto subscription, but they raised the price from ~$13 to ~$20 which is a huge spike in price. I can't justify that cost. It's a shame, because I would have liked to support a United States business. If you don't care about cost, this is a decent option, however, don't expect any miracles. These ingredients basically allow the body to keep existing cartilage in healthy condition. It's only used if the body needs it, and more of it won't magically coat joints to create new cartilage. Severe damage like a labral tear in the hip or shoulder will not benefit from this in any way. What this will do is help minor to moderate joint degradation and chronic inflammation, but not usually in a night & day difference. It has a small effect on its own but it can have a cumulatively noticeable impact when combined with NSAIDs (topical & oral), regular stretching & massaging, heat therapy, and topical ointments that contain therapeutic ingredients like MSM, glucosamine, CBD/CBN, and vitamin B6/E. Just remember that this alone is a small piece to the puzzle of joint care which now will cost you $240 each year. These kind of supplements would normally cost half of that for the same supply. So, unfortunately, I'll be looking elsewhere going forward.

I'm 49 and still weightlifting. And my joints, especially my shoulders, keep reminding me of my age. I've tried several supplements like these and they work ok. But I had heard about turmeric and thought I would give these a try. And I'm sold! But lets get real. There are a ton of supplements on the market that have little to mostly zero effect. As someone that has tried almost all of them I can tell you the following work: Glucosamine Chondroitin L-Arginine Green Tea Extract(for raising metabolism) But this particular product with turmeric and MSN? The best I've tried so far. P.S. The flavor and/or smell isn't good. Why? Because it has turmeric in it. But I wasn't about to give less than 5 stars for this product. But its a capsule so...suck it up. Update: I AM AMAZED! Even with my previous glucosamine supplement I had to use joint cream and heating pads to relieve the pain. But this? I'm floored! Still lifting but now with no joint pain or any need for anything else. I honestly don't know why this isn't labeled as a miracle cure because it certainly is.

As a heavy guy who works in agriculture, my knees bear the brunt of my daily workload. I'm also a PhD student, so I'm also adept at analyzing research articles and seeing through the bunk and junk of marketing. Well, GC/MSM is one of those products that has a lot of anecdotal efficacy, but the literature doesn't really support the purported 'miracle panacea for joint pain' claims. That being said, I decided to try this product considering that at the very least, it couldn't hurt. Well, I can happily say that my sore knees actually do feel better having popped these pills for just over a week now. They were relatively easy to incorporate into my daily routine, not requiring any special 'take with a 3/4's empty stomach, don't lie down afterwards, avoid all grapefruit, ...' constraints, and despite the typical big pill size of supplements were easy to swallow. Flavorwise, fully neutral, and no off odors or peculiar tingling, moistening, or gumming sensation noticeable after ingestion. (Unlike my cinnamon pills, yikes!) I'm very satisfied with these pills, and whether or not it's from a true curative result or simply placebo effect, they are working to ease my strain and pain.

I cannot actually believe the relief these pills bring. I've had 'knee problems' in both knees since I was a teen. These pills actually work! I normally have an extremely small range of motion, stiffness, and pain. By the time I was 16-17 years old I could no longer run or be active in sports because of the inflammation and pain that would occur afterwards. It's been quite debilitating. I cannot go up ladders, carry anything over 20-30 pounds, jug, bike, or lift any weights. These pills have changed my quality of life! I added gutter guards to our entire house a couple of weeks ago with no residual knee pain from going up and down the ladder. This is something I absolutely could not do before. After 15 years year I finally feel normal. I'm on my 5th bottle and have followed the instructions to a tee without missing any days. I found relief in the first couple of weeks. If you're like me you NEED to give these a real shot!

highly recommended product! it relieved my shoulders inflammation after a week of usage, works great for anyone having trouble with their joints.

I was using this for joint pain. I used it with a combination of other supplements so I’m not sure if it was the product alone. I did have an improvement while using it though. I’m going to buy it again.
