Got it today and the glass looks cloudy. Not at all crystal clear.... anyone else?

The dome is cloudy by design. It makes the effect look brighter.

To the manufacturer, are the pictures of your product going to reflect what i am going to recive?

How can I reference the size of the ball?

The ball is 6” in diameter, the whole thing, base included is 10” tall. Hope this helps

Are the different colors due to varying the gas mixture--or is the glass sphere simply tinted with color?

The glass is not tinted. However, I'm disappointed to inform you that the Kicko brand blue plasma ball lights I've purchased (I'm on my second one) the glass is somewhat milky or foggy. There's a huge contrast between my blue plasma ball and my other ones from a different company. So if you do purchase the green one be sure to write a review and let us know if the glasses clear or if it's also foggy. I wish I could upload a photo here to show you but I don't see that option.
