Anyone else having trouble finding the gotcha evolve app? the app store no longer has it so can't use the watch.

You don't need the app, it links in game

Does it hatch as well as catch

No. Egg hatching is tied to distance walked. It has a pedometer in it but this is just for your info. If you turn on Adventure sync in PoGo it will hatch eggs through your normal walking activity with your phone (so long as PoGo is closed)

Can you take it out of the strap?

You can pull both straps off but the one end has terminal on for recharging

Is this really worth it the kids are nagging about it but the reviews are questionable broke after a few months, disconnecting ect and the £40 price ?

I love mine. It does linking issue every now and then but most of the time it stays connected for 40min-1hour but I always check every 20min or so. I would say yes 100% worth the money
