What size for 11 shoe

The cleats are very good for my smaller size shoe. I have not had to use them much as our Council is very good at gritting the pavements so the snow and ice are kept clear. I live in Shetland.

I need to buy for male size 8. Is it best to get the medium (5-8) and stretch them or the looser Large (8-11)? Thanks

I must admit I was in the same quandary but ended up buying the larger ones as I tend to wear larger boots in the winter

Can these be used on a pair of Adidas trainers, for short time use while walking?

The area that is in contact with footwear is flat and about 3.5 inches by 3 inches at the front and 2 inches by 3 inches at the heel. In each of the flats areas the heads of the spikes is there like the head of a mushroom. These are flat and pentrate the gripper, the spikes are underside. If your trainer soles are not to knobbly you should ok. I use them with light walking boots but running would be highly dangerous.

Are they any good for hiking say the yorkshire 3 peaks? The snow isnt so much the issue just the ice on the flagstones

I used these cleats whilst walking on very thin ice/sleet on the road and the grip was definitely very good. I had no fear of slipping. I suspect the same should work fine on ice on flagstones.
