Rocky Mountain Goods Jimmy Proof Lock Deadbolt Lock - Heavy Duty Safety Deadbolt - Easy Install - Double Cylinder Locking - Shutter Guard

This was a great replacement lock at a great price

Si

Nice classic deadbolt with a bronze finish. Deadbolt metal looks sturdy and the dual cylinder is more unique to this unit and a few others on the site. Did the job, but I had to buy a second tailpiece as I cut the first one a tad too short. Heed the warnings from the other reviews and go a bit long and grind down if necessary. I've installed lots of locks and never had to get a second tailpiece for any unit but this guy.

Installed in minutes and lock is smooth and works great

Have an old one that needed to be replaced and on the new one the mounting holes don't match up. Had to use the old body and the new cylinder.

Great product for the price

This lock was exactly as described. The double cylinder lock fit my need perfectly. It was no problem to get it re-keyed to match my current locks. However, I found it so difficult to install that I had to hire a locksmith after spending a lot of time trying to get it right. My problem was I had not cut the tail piece precisely enough, despite following the directions and cutting at the location suggested. If it had been easier to install, I would have given it 5 stars.

I installed the entire lock (everything!) before I found out that the key didn't turn in the lock. Try the keys in the lock cylinder first, before doing anything else!
