VIVOHOME 3ft Heavy Duty Indoor Outdoor Firewood Storage Log Rack with Kindling Holder

Likely a 3 yr life in the elements, the rack serves intended purpose for small woodpile for a backyard firepit. The hardware sent was Phillips machine screws which were an inch too long. If you use inside this cosmetic detail will bother you.I attached the rack to 24” treated 4x4s with lag bolts to add stability and elevate above ground.

The product is just the right size. Assembly was easy, but the wrench and Allen wrench that were supposed to be included were not there. I just used my own. Also, the instructions showed nuts that were closed on one end so the threads didn’t stick out once installed. The nuts were actually open standard nuts. Instead of installing then thread facing out, I just put the thread in the inside of the posts so the screw head was on the outside. Small things that didn’t affect the overall function. I still like it, but just small things to note.

The rack, fits very well into the space I bought it for. The square design and architectural base give the desired look. Even with its short comings, the rack is the best looking for its price range.Assembly was moderately difficult as the base pieces were warped, but I was able to use the frame itself to lever it into square and it doesn’t wobble. It would have been easier with a second pair of hands. One of the ends does have a slight tilt inward tough. The dimensions in the description are fairly accurate. Drawings of the rack are very misleading, it appears wider than it is and the kindling rack seems much larger. The nuts and bolts are dipped in some sort of black coating, it’s cheap and they do a very poor job of drying them so the costing sloughs off. In my case you can only see them from one side, so it didn’t matter. A bit of black paint after assembly would have resolved the issue.After looking at several tubing based racks with round rails that looked cheesy and flimsy, I choose this rack. I’d buy it again because the architectural style is what I was looking for and I didn’t want to pend way more on a custom one.

Easy to put together.Holds a healthy amount of wood - for my little Jotul stove, I can go a whole cold weekend and only fill it up once.I do wish that the little curly-cue tinder holder had some pre-drilled holes, as it just sits on there and flops around; I've knocked it off onto the floor more than a few times. Will need to drill it and put in some machine screws when I get around to it.

Got this in and started assembling it. Half way though some of the screw holes weren't aligning. After getting most of the screws in and having it 90% assembled, there was an inch gap where either the legs or crossbars were bent, because it would not sit level at all.I'm not sure if this was shipping's fault or if the product was manufactured incorrectly. But, I did try to return the product only for it to get lost in shipping. I received a full refund and purchased a different log rack.

It’s sleek and simple, clean lines. Overall not bad. It does not feel very sturdy to handle elements and it did not come with all the pieces required for assembly. Instead of bolt covers, there are just nuts to secure the screws. It came with an extra screw and nut which is nice if you lose one. And it did not come with either of the assembly tools, we used our own. Will be using and seeing how it handles long term use, but wouldn’t buy again.

It went together easily and nothing other than what description says. Seems sturdy and looks good. They say it takes a quarter of a cord -- and that amount didn't quite fit for us, but our wood supplier is generous so maybe we had a bit more.,
