ASICS Men's JB Elite V2.0 Wrestling Shoe

My high school junior's wrestling shoes "died" mid-season and we didn't have the time to run around trying to find a new pair so I took a chance on these because of the reviews here and elsewhere, and the price was great. He wore them for the 1st time today and came home singing their praises for 1) exceptionally comfortable 2) so light he said he could barely feel them on his feet and 3) excellent grip, which was something that was getting mixed reviews from what I'd read. It's rare that I get such high praise and a sincere "thanks mom!" but these wrestling shoes were a big hit! I hope they last thru the rest of this season and at least part way thru next year. Also, we found the size accurate for what he normally wears in sneakers/sports shoes.

Being the mid range price for shoes, these have worked great. They are snug, but as wrestling shoes should be. Very difficult to get on, doing it again for little guys that need help I would get Velcro ones. But they loved the colors of these!

these look awesome. My son loves the feel. perfect amount of freedom on the upper and perfect stiff flex on the sole. Grip points on the pivot edges are perfect. someone did some great engineering and homework on this shoe! PLUS it supports our Golden boy Burroughs!!! get another gold JB!! Rio 2016!!!

It is a very cool wrestling shoe and my daughter has already received compliments on them. They do seem to run a little more narrow with shorter laces than the Asics Matflex she previously wore. We went up a half size from her last Asics pair. They do seem like they are made better than the Matflex but as she has only had them for a week, only time will tell.

My little one has used these for over a month and are holding up well. The fit was exactly as listed. We really like the colors on this shoe. Shipping was quick.

Great wrestling shoes! However, I wear a men's size 12 in Nike and I had to return my first pair of shoes which were way too small. Easy return, and received my men's size 13 and they fit perfect! Would definitely order these again!!!

Seem to run a half size larger the my sons UA shoes, not that it is a bad thing. Maybe they will last two seasons while he continues to grow. Asics, I still have my pair from High School over ten years ago and use them to this day while coaching! There is no substitute for quality, and that is what you get with these shoes.

They look great and are light as a feather. However, the shoelaces are essentially junk (weak/frayed). Blistering on the outside of the ball of my planting foot. It is most likely the breaking in period that's causing it. Overall good shoe, better shoelaces would help considerably.
