Well I never worry about allergic reactions anymore because I learned that you can put a coat of clear nail polish on your nose ring and anything else and it keeps you from coming in contact with the silver or gold ...so I had problems before with silver but not anymore... I hope that helps you...

Would this fit a regular piercing hole??

It would but it’s not worth buying. It will tarnish after one wear.

It turns black and I’m not sure why. When you try to wash it in water the black doesn’t come off
