Tite Foam Big Gaps Spray Foam Sealant, 12 fl oz Can, 1 Pack - Polyurethane Expanding Insulation

This stuff works decently well for sealing up bigger gaps, and the bright white finish looks a lot cleaner than that ugly yellow foam most brands use. It definitely expands enough to fill substantial voids, and once it cures, it holds up well against weather and sun. That said, applying it can be a bit of a nightmare. The foam comes out fast and keeps expanding, so if you aren't super gentle with the trigger, you'll end up with a huge mess to trim back later. Also, like almost every spray foam can, the straw clogs up as soon as you take a breather—meaning if you don't use the whole can in one sitting, whatever is left is pretty much wasted. It gets the job done if you have a single large project ready to go, but the lack of control and zero reusability make it a bit frustrating to deal with.

A few reviews on here saved me a lot of headaches while working with this sealant. I'd like to summarize how i managed to get great results and had zero mess/cleanup! *make sure the applicator snaps on correctly [it snaps on 2 sides - make sure they both SNAP before you begin] *press the trigger gently, as the product comes out at a very good pace even with small pressure *have the nozzle where you want the product to go as opposed to treating this like a long distance sprayer *if using in a larger gap than intended i found doing one row of foam and allowing to dry enabled me to then follow with a second row of foam in connection with the previously dried row [this allowed me to easily fill larger gaps than intended without creating a mess or having foam pull away from where i wanted the gap filled] *absolutely 1000% wear disposable gloves [better safe than sorry, as this stuff does appear to be extremely sticky] This is a fantastic product, but can easily be a headache if you don't take care when using it. I just refortified the insulation along the sides of my basement and i could not be happier! Zero draft and it only took 4 cans of this stuff [at the time of purchase, less than $30 - can't beat that considering the results]

Worked to seal a gap from outside laundry pipe into garage - no more flooding. highly recommend.

Worked well but it became jammed almost immediately. Unable to clean it before it was completely unusable. But for less than 10 and the little I needed it worked. USE GLOVES

EXCELLENT. HAD TO FILL SOME GAPS IN MY HOT TUB PIPES THAT WERE EXPOSED PLUS RAT PROBLEM. FILLS GAPS AND NO MOR RATS.

Works great to fill in space around pipes

This stuff is not at all what I expected - it doesn't stick to the cracks/walls that I'm trying to seal, and has been a total disaster. I bought 3 cans for my garage sealing project, and threw the first can way half way thru it since it was working so poorly. The stuff got all over (except in the crack where it was supposed to stick), and I'm not sure how to clean up the mess. I tried returning the two unused cans, and Amazon is not letting me, saying the product is not returnable.

Works well WHEN it works. the couple cans i have purchased that I can actually get flowing are great, the expanding foam expands a lot for huge gaps and it is really sturdy. I have had issues with insects actually like gnawing through other types of caulk or fillers but not this kind. Critters do NOT get through this stuff. WIth that being said, i think some cans can just be duds. I have had one that was brand new and i shook vigorously for probably 5 minutes and tried every which way to get the crap out of the can but it will not come out. When it works, it works great but when it doesn't its frustrating and a waste of money.

Foam is denser than Lepage or great stuff. Fixed a creaking vinyl bath tub installation.

I bought it to close the air conditioner hole in the wall and I was positively surprised about this product. Not only its easy to use, it also perfectly sealed the hole. I should have applied a bit less foam as it expands in around 15-20 minutes. Only regret is the quantity was too low, but likely because I used it too much. One til: use hand gloves while using it, it gets very sticky on fingers
