New Metro KA-5L Original Beater Blade Works w/ Most KitchenAid 5 Qt Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers, Grey

This is perfect in my 5 Qt bowl of my Kitchen Aid mixer. It really scrapes the sides and bottom of the bowl very well.

This is the best beater for my Kitchen Aid mixer. The rubber edges do a good job of scraping the bowl while mixing ingredients. I stopped using the beater that came with the mixer once I started using this one.

My Mom passed away a few months ago and I inherited her Kitchen Aid Mixer. Included with the attachments was a Beater Blade. I took it out and saw the blade had broken. I don't know how Mom broke it, but after reading the product reviews on Amazon, I ordered a new one. When it arrived, the package said "Lifetime Guarantee." I wrote to New Metro Design, and told them my situation. I don't know how it broke, and frankly, didn't think they would replace it. THEY DID! And gave me a newer model! So, if anyone is wondering whether they should take a chance and buy this excellent tool (many reviews have wondered if it would last), know that you are buying from a company that stands behind its products. It is both an excellent tool (I've only used it to make cookies, but it works GREAT!) AND an excellent company. What a nice surprise when me and my family have been so sad after losing my wonderful Mom. It was greatly appreciated!

I would give a 5 star but not made of metal like my kitchen aid attachments I misplaced my paddle attachment needed one fast making a batch of professional sugar cookies I sell and was a big order it’s a hobby I love making these cookies and people have started ordering but I needed a paddle for my kitchen aid it’s plastic not metal but so far so good with the hard plastic I was worried the price is great and it does a great job! Speed on high and rubber sides really clean and mix sides of bowl when blending! Does a better job for a great price than I expected it’s still a workhorse so far so good! Also fits my 10 speed kitchen aid perfectly!

This paddle is wonderful. I have tried all kinds but this is the first one that actually worked for me.. It scraped the sides of my bowl appears to be a good quality paddle.. I washed it in the dishwasher on the top shelf and it did just fine I am so happy to find a paddle that actually worked. It fit my mixer and was so easy to put on. I put my mixer on high speed to see if it would still scrap the sides of my bowl and it worked great. II recommend this to anyone who is looking for a paddle that actually scrapes . I have the large kitchenaid mixer with the lift bowl.

I ordered this as a replacement for my 5+ year old beater that had started to crack. I used this one less than 5 times and then while mixing cookie dough the plastic beater cracked and shattered into several pieces flying across the kitchen while the mixer was mixing. Poorly made. Will not purchase this brand in the future.

As the cook/baker/chief mess-maker in the house I am the one who uses the Kitchenaid stand mixer 99% of the time (in fact, it was a father's day gift to me). If you're reading this review you know how great it is to have a stand mixer; you also know that the bowl needs to be scraped from time to time to ensure all the ingredients get mixed in, especially near the bump at the bottom of the mixing bowl. I wanted to get another beater blade for my stand mixer, as I'm not really a "clean as you go" guy (much to my wife's chagrin). I'd rather let the dishwasher do all the work. Instead of going for another Kitchenaid beater I thought I'd try this...I also like kitchen gadgets too. This blade is great. It mixes the ingredient very well, better than the stock blade, and it mixes in all the stuff that used to accumulate at the bottom of the bowl. It moves smoothly around the bowl, no rocking or bumping. Will it free you from bowl scraping? Unfortunately not, though you'll have to scrape much less often. I've found that I'll have to scrape ingredients that got stuck to the center shaft (like butter) or that got pushed up the side of the bowl, higher than the blade reaches (like flour). The good news is I only have to scrape those areas once...a big improvement over the amount of scraping I did before. If you've got a stand mixer this blade is a valuable accessory. It's dishwasher-safe too, which fits in great with my method of "dirty every utensil and bowl then stuff them in the dishwasher".

I have purchased this paddle 3 times now. One for myself years ago, one for my BFF and another for me as back up because I know the price of this scraping paddle is amazing vs. The competition. When I say that I couldn't live without this Kitchenaid fitting pattle, it's far from exaggerated experience. I litterally use this attachment in bread making to start as well as other baking batters, frosting etc., at least once a week. Say goodbye to dropping your mixing bowl for constant scraping. I haven't used a spatula unless I'm turning out batters after mixing is complete. This paddle is constructed of heavy duty plastics and rubber edge. The KA-6L Paddle fits my 7 qt. Perfectly. I would highly recommend for yourself as well as a gift for anyone who owns a kitchenaid stand mixer. My kitchenaid mixer came with a rubber sided paddle which has no inside to it. I used it once and found it useless. I'm very happy to have found New Metro Original Beater Blade.

Con questo accessorio non è più necessario utilizzare la spatola per "spostare" l'impasto nella ciotola della planetaria. Occorre però regolare la vite che si trova sotto la testa della kitchenaid in quanto non perfettamente identica in dimensioni alla foglia in dotazione. Non adatta a impasti troppo solidi perché è di plastica. La utilizzo comunque per impasti di torte, creme etc, la prima acquistata mi è durata più di 5 anni dopodiché ha iniziato a sbriciolarsi la parte in silicone e l'ho sostituita. Soddisfatta.

Gekauft, weil beim Original von Kitchenaid eine sehr hohe Bleibelastung in der Farbe nachgewiesen wurde, somit ging es gleich in den (Sonder)Muell. Bleifrei und genau so gut. Danke

La pieza no es metálica, es de plástico. La regulación de la altura del bol la tengo en la más alejada posible (pala vs bol). De momento, cumple su función

Vale la pena, mucho más barata que la kitchenaid. Te ayuda a no tener que estar raspando la espátula en el bowl al momento de hacer masas. Buena calidad
