Good product but a hassle
I like the charcoal filtering of the air since you can get bad air when you travel, and the added moisturizing wick makes the air comfortable to breathe. I've never really had a problem with dry mouth, but I did 3 dives on a liveaboard last week without the filter, and then the next 14 dives with it. The dives with the filter were more pleasant. Only down side is that you have to add water after every dive (remember to purge all air first!!) and remove the moisture wick at night to let it dry so it doesn't mildew. That's a hassle. Takes a couple of wrenches to take it apart. And when it's on your 1st stage, it sticks out several inches (about as far as a hose protector normally would) so on a boat with your gear close to your neighbors you have to be careful neither of you bump it with other gear. Would I buy it again? Only if I knew I was going to make a lot of dives in a short period of time. If I was only doing 1-2 dives a day for 2-3 days I probably wouldn't bother. But on a liveaboard with 4-6 dives a day for a week, I would.

It Works
It does work. Air is still a little dry if diving shallow for 8-10 hours a day but a definite improvement over no inline air filter. I actually like it. I would add water to it every 2 tanks or so. Comes with a bottle that you push in a hole in the outside to fill it, so no disassembly required.Instructions suck. You need to open it and use a Allen wrench to attach the base to the regulator. Then put it together. They way they designed it lets it wiggle to keep from breaking off. Real good design actually.

Can't dive without this gizmo, love it!
Really moistens the air, and keeps it purified.

Amazing
I've been getting severe dry throat from the dry nitrox air. To the point my speech is impaired. A friend recommended this. I've know of this for decades. But, I always thought it was just another gimmick. My first breath with this heaven. I've made a dozen dives with this, and can't see making another one without it.

Leaks air constantly
Leaked constantly. Tried disassembly and reassembly, and still leaked.

Great but leaks
Used for 30+ Dives. Leaks after two years use. Taking to dive shop for o-ring replacement and tightening up . Feels like breathing in a forest. Huge difference.

Works... but refills are serious $$$
Works. But the refill costs for the carbon filters and replacement wicks etc is simply robbery. $50 for a 3 pack of carbon or wicks? Same scheme as buying an inkjet printer. They sell the printer for little and the ink refills for a small fortune. I wouldn't recommend it for this reason. Unless you really have a problem with dry mouth / sore throats after diving and you can't find a way to tolerate it... or you do a ton of diving.... I would skip it.
