Outus EPDM Foam Tape Seal Strips, 12 m, White - Weather Strips for Sound Wind Noise Proof, Self Adhesive Weatherstrips for Door Window Draught Excluder

We ordered this 2mm thick draftproof tape to fill in some minor gaps (e.g. between window frames and in doors that had slightly warped over the years). The tape was very easy to apply onto our painted window and door frames. We simply wiped the surfaces down to remove dirt then gave them a second wipe with a bit of white spirit. After allowing it to dry, it took a matter of seconds to apply the tape. It is sticking nicely - and we have noticeably fewer drafts as a result. We should have done this a couple of years ago, but at least we've done it now. We're pleased with the results so far.

I can understand other reviews - the backing was difficult to remove and it wasn't very thick. Did the job but used a double layer for a big gap as advised on other reviews - this worked fine. Product did the job so I'm happy

Bought for an internal door that separates loft from rest of house so had some draughts. Worked so well has now been deployed on 2 other doors and used to fix a door that wasn't shutting properly because the supplied excluder was too thick. Sticks well.

It’s a good product but quite thin, the adhesive is very strong and very hard to peel off the backing. The backing rips constantly and takes ages to get it to peel again with fingers covered in the glue. They do seem to keep the draft out but they’re just a pain to install

I bought this to seal around the internal door frame from the kitchen to the integral garage. The dimensions of the seal strip are spot on; however, the adhesive strip is quite probably the poorest quality I've ever used. If you can manage to peel it off, it takes half of the adhesive with it, leaving nothing to stick to the surface. It was utterly useless and we've purchased a different brand from a different supplier.

I have use this as a draft excluder and pad my windows out. It’s easy to use easy to handle and stays in place. Its brilliant! I do recommend this.

Perfect for what I needed. The steps are quite thin but that's perfect for small gaps. I had a slightly larger gap in one window but I just put another strip on top for double thickness. They have really cut down the draft from my old windows!

This product is very good indeed. However, I've marked it down by one star, because it's not very compressible. So if you use it on an inner wooden door, with varying gaps, then you may find the door will no longer latch shut. But it's excellent for say uPVC windows, with leaky seals, because the seals themselves will compress.

Extremely happy with the results of this 1/8 inch thick foam weather stripping. I applied this product around the frame of my bedroom door to help reduce the level of sound of noises coming in from the rest of the house. It is thin enough to dramatically to reduce the level of sound coming in & still allow my door to be shut all the way. I wasn't sure if I'd need the full width of the strips so it was very convenient to be able to easily split the stripping down the middle (which I did end up doing). The adhesive seems to be holding up very well, even after having to reposition a portion of the stripping when I initially installed it. I haven't been paid for this review, nor did I receive any sort of discount - this is a real review from a regular Amazon shopper. I will be ordering more of this foam weather stripping to help sound proof other bedroom doors in my house.

Purtroppo casa mia ha ancora gli infissi in acciaio zincato degli anni 60 costruti praticamente in maniera artigianale. Vivendo sullo Stretto di Messina in un anno vi saranno 10 giorni senza vento e ciò provoca oltre a rumore anche raffreddamento in inverno e riscaldamento in estate. Questo prodotto si adatta perfettamente a risolvere tali problemi. la stretta fascia adesiva in materiale simile a gomma piuma ( molo compatta) si posiziona facilmente e siggila il battente. In uso da un mesetto circa senza alcun problema rilevato

Die Streifen machen was sie sollen. In meinem Fall als Dichtungen/Dämmung von Schubladen und Schranktüren. Eines hat etwas genervt: nach dem Zerschneiden lässt sich der Schutzstreifen nur sehr schwer lösen. Aber insgesamt echt OK!

Es un producto práctico que viene bien tener en casa para poder usar. Buen precio y efectivo.
