Does it matter if an N9 type spermicide is used with this or a natural one like Contragel? Can the N9 type degrade the silicone?

FemCap can be used with any spermicide or contraceptive gel. N9 spermicides like Gygel are classed as being 'abrasive' but that's really an issue for skin - the abrasiveness can cause itchiness and increases the risk of infection due to the abrasions, but skin is really delicate, FemCap is medical grade silicone, so the N( will not effect it. ContraGel does not contain N9, is water based and natural so is a good alternative for the skin (of both the man and the woman!) but there is no issue from the FemCap side of things.
