Searched for ages for a decent sized notebook. Bought 2. Lots of pages. Good quality lined paper. Has 2 ribbon page markers. Great for journals or creative writing. Small enough to carry but really thick. Great price.

This book is exactly as described, great value for money, sturdy also. With its lovely packaging it’s superb as a gift to others ( no need for wrapping paper). Lovely to write on! Over 700 hundred pages! So lots to write about. It’s also versatile, can be used as journal or diary as it has the days and numbers on it.

Good quality but quite in front has error

This is a great notebook. At first I was shocked as it was smaller than a normal a5 notebook but it is a beautiful well made book. Very thick with lots of paper. Thick pages so you can use felt too and it won’t go through the page. It has a lovely quote on the front. A great book to keep as a journal, wrote poems etc. I love it and it’s the best journal I have owned. If you are wanting it as a prayer bible to take to church with its good to bear in mind that it’s not lightweight and takes up room in a small bag due to its thickness:)

Bought this as I wanted a chunky notebook to write down lists and appointments. I opted for a5 size, as I tend to prefer a bit more space when I write, and did not plan to take the notebook out and about. Firstly I would not gift this. It said it came boxed with a pen. The box was not a gift box, it was a cheap box that had been bashed about and torn. Fortunately the notebook was not creased. A rollerball type pen is included for free, however it is rather cheap and cheerful and was very scratchy to use. The notebook itself has a pleather type cover with a quote on. Not keen on the quote as it makes no sense (maybe a bad translation?) however fortunately it’s not super visible as both the quote and cover are black. As its pleather, and relatively thin, it means there is no extra weight added to the book. For over 600 pages, it is reasonably lightweight for what it is, however I’d not describe it as portable at all. On opening, the notebook has many pages with spaces for dates and the weather, which is quite useful. I was impressed with the paper. Creamy and my biro pens worked great on it with minimal showthrough. Cannot speak for fountain pens or wetter ink however the rollerball that came with the notebook did show through a bit, but not noticeably enough to be annoying. At over six hundred pages, this notebook is THICK. However there is a flaw in this that some other people have mentioned, in that the book as a whole starts to tear away from the spine. The outermost pages that attach to the cover begin to tear away when the book is opened and in use- in fact, mine arrived with them starting to tear away already. This is a bit rubbish however I am inclined to think that a lot of notebooks with many pages may suffer from this issue. I am guessing that the sheer volume of pages mean the lightweight cover struggles to hang onto them. Would I recommend this? Maybe. There is no denying it’s good value for the amount of paper, and if treated gently it should last you many writing sessions. However, I would not buy it again myself as it’s just not got the quality I like in a notebook. Avoid giving as a gift unless you plan to re wrap it first! 3 stars.

This is a smashing little book which is ideal for my Journal which I just decided I was going to keep. My brother has one the very same and he recommended it to me. It’s really thick but it needs to be as I write about six sides of a page each evening. If there’s something in the day that has troubled me then I pour my heart out into my little friend and I feel calmer and better. I recommend this book to a variety of users but mostly to those people wishing to keep a Journal. I am so pleased with my purchase I have sent for a second book for when I have finished this one and will probably send for a third Journal/writing book. Worth far more than just five gold stars. Good value for money because not that expensive for what it is. Would make a really good gift.

Entgegen der Beschreibung ist kein Kugelschreiber dem Buch beigefügt, auch die Seiten sind nicht nummeriert und es sind weniger Seiten.

Returned very small ..not what I. Needed

Ich habe das Notizbuch bereits mehrfach in der kleineren Größe in Gebrauch und mir nun noch das DIN A 5 Format gekauft. Wie erwartet ist es genauso super. Mit der Lieferung hat auch alles 1 a geklappt. Danke! PS. Von dem beigefügten Stift darf man natürlich nicht zu viel erwarten, bei diesem günstigen Gesamtpreis dürfte das jedem klar sein, und doch ist er ein Goodie - mit einer neuen Mine lässt er sich bestimmt zu seinem vollen Potential erwecken, denn schön ist er :)
