This beautiful book does a great job of presenting nine fun party ideas. Nice touches like a ribbon book mark, and a "party by numbers" wheel that tells you how much an an item to buy based on number of guests attending make this book a must have. For the crafty- make your own invitations at the website ([...]). The best part of the book is the etiquette portion, which is all about handling sticky situations that can arise at a get together, like when someone is snooping through your medicine cabinet or letting their kids assault your glass coffee table. All in all a great party book.

I really, really enjoy this book! I adore looking at the pictures of Martha Stewart magazines with a wistful "someday." But, this book brings me "today!" The ideas are fabulous, but manageable and affordable! I consider myself inept at any creative decorating for the holidays, but always envy those who can. The book gives fabulous, yet simple, methods for making every party a success, whether for your two-year old or your annual neighborhood bar-b-que. Excellent pictures (and lots of them) and helpful tips!

This is a great reference book that is surely going to stay on your self, if not one of your friends who will ask to borrow it for their special event

Wonderful! This book is so full of inspiring ideas for celebrating all sorts of occasions (seasonal/ birthday/ showers etc) that make you want to have many parties! I love entertaining and sometimes want to use some new ideas, when mine feel stale. This book has countless fabulous suggestions that are easy to follow. I would recommend it for everyone who loves the art of entertainment.

Wanted to give this book as part of a wedding shower gift. I had to return it because the cover was damaged.

This book is fantastic. I ordered it a couple of weeks ago and have read it cover to cover. Every single page has one fantastic idea after another. I have tons of cookbooks that I love and this one is high on my go to list for sure!

When I ordered the book, I thought it was something new. I had already purchased the blue-covered paperback "Celebrations" several years ago. I thought it would be all new material. It is basically the same. Obviously, I wouldn't have ordered had I known. It gives some good ideas for celebrations. It didn't have what I was looking for, but it may be exactly what another wants...? Nice book...

Great book with great tips on throwing wonderful parties. Great recipes and tips on decor and activities. Wish the Real Simple Magazine was this useful; now it's chock full of ads. But this book is great.
