RAC R3000 1080p HD Dash Cam with 3 Inch Screen Display and Collision/Parking Monitor with G-Sensor – Black

I bought just one of these RAC dash cams for my front windshield, and then I bought another for the rear a week later.They both arrived quickly as usual with Prime and was extremely easy to set up and use, took approx. 10 mins. What I love about it most is the movement sensor. The camera automatically starts recording once you turn the engine on and it will even start recording if someone attempts to break into the car.The dash cam is lightweight and compact and feels secure in its mount and also when mounted to the glass. I was pleasantly surprised with the HD quality of the recordings when I reviewed them. Even comes with a free SD card and long power cable, so for the price you can’t complain! Highly recommend.

Got this for my sons first car and it brought his insurance premium down, I myself have a very expensive dashcam and this one bets it hands down so much so I’m thinking of replacing mine.

The Amazon page say's that the camera comes with accessories and it doesn't, it's just the camera in a box.A person did also ask in the Q&A section of this page if "This camera comes with a suction mount and all the accessories needed to install it?" Which Someone has replied "Yes this comes with the in car charger and windscreen mount." All of this seems to be lies since I've just only received the camera and no mount, no accessories and no charger.

Easy to use and fit only gripe would be that you need to buy a larger memory card as the supplied one only records for 60 seconds. Having said this would happily recommend it to anyone needing a dashcam.

Very easy menu and although small monitor, fairly good quality. Monitor can be set to switch off after 3 minutes to avoid distraction, leaving camera still running. No auto Exposure setting, although manual override again simple.

Safe, Unobtrusive size and excellent picture for a small camera.

Having bought 2 of the RAC 3000 Dash cams I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The camera in itself is fine but the cradle which holds the camera onto the windscreen is total rubbish. The first one stayed in place for about an hour before becoming detached, the second one only stayed in place for 45 seconds to a minute.I have now returned one of them and recieved a refund. RAC aren't interested and aren't prepared to replace the faulty part unless you bought them direct from the RAC. Binatone who made them under licence for the RAC haven't even responded to my e mail.

Very good product for the price, easy to fit and use.
