I have used this company for many years. I just feed the squirrels but squirrels talk and they all come to my home! I make sure I have a stack of hazel nuts as I know sometimes it can take 1-3 weeks for delivery, usually the estimate is correct or even before, but if ever I have had an issue this has been resolved straight away. Hence why I give 5 stars! The squirrels shout me if they are running low and I’m happy to refill my dispenser. They even take from my hand. Good quality and good service. It warms my heart to feed them, it makes me smile and laugh when I am on the phone with a relative and the squirrel is waiting hands on belly just by my door and I have to say one minute there you go, enjoy! I have also bought peanuts in shells, they like them too, but hazelnuts are their favourite

Hazel nuts and walnuts are a regular part of my diet. These hazel nuts are excellent. Beautiful texture and full of flavour. However, the one special point which makes this supplier stand out from other suppliers available on Amazon is the way in which they package and despatch their product. In strong cardboard boxes, ensuring that the full quantity of nuts ordered arrive safely. Having experienced the loss of a significant quantity of hazelnuts, in the past, from suppliers who mistakenly think that it is satisfactory to send hazelnuts through the postal system in a thin plastic bag, I would recommend this supplier unreservedly.

Only received 1.6kg of nuts not 2kg as paid for. Very dusty and old - I wouldn't trust for human consumption. Terrible

The nuts seem ok and I am sure the squirrel who visits my garden will enjoy them. Lost a star as they were just packed loose in a cardboard box with no additional packaging - good job the box did not split!!

Why would anybody feed these to squirrels (as several reviewers apparently do)? The batch we just received was typical of central European hazelnuts freshly picked in the wild (as these may well have been) - kernels slightly furry, taste not even a hint of staleness, let alone rancidity. They;re most likely this year's crop. And that's the point: Buy hazelnuts now rather than in the spring, so you're more likely to get the current season's crop. Do store them in a cool, dry location - and eat them yourself. The comparatively few buyers with a negative experience must have been sent old or very badly stored lots. Have another try - but do order them in autumn.

Great quality hazelnuts that were significantly cheaper than my usual supplier. They were delivered on the earliest date of the delivery window given. I will be buying from here from now on.
