ASURION 3 Year Electronics Protection Plan ($400 - $449.99)

A three year ADDITIONAL coverage results in starting at the purchase date and overrides the manufacturer warrant. So, I you get a product that comes with a two year factory warranty, you pay for three years and actually get only ONE year. THAT is a rip-off and I am going through The Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection for assistance.

Bought this protection plan on a gate control board for our driveway because we have had issues with our previous boards going out. When this one stopped working, we filed our claim and sent the board to Asurion for inspection. In a timely manner, I got a text/email saying they couldn't fix the board and they reimbursed me in the form of an Amazon gift card which was fine with me. Great experience. I would definitely purchase their protection plan again!

These protection plans are a joke! They literally only cover flood damage or power outages that short out the product. That’s it. It doesn’t cover a defective item received or anything else. Perhaps it states those coverages in the description and I missed it before purchasing. If It is described and if I had seen that description, I would have never purchased these plans. This was an absolute waste of money and never again will I buy an Asurion plan.

There was a problem with my daughter's laptop- they fixed it completely with a very quick turnaround, even when the device had to be shipped across the country. Asurion gets my highest recommendation!

Our all-in-one record player/CD/tape/radio unit had a bad speaker, kept shorting. We sent it to Asurion on a Saturday and had it back, fixed, in less than 10 days - all before Christmas. Really glad to do business with them!UPDATE: the player broke down again, so Asurian refunded us the purchase price. Great service!

The assurance of knowing that you have someone standing behind you is well worth the cost they where very helpful and professional all else I can say is thanks

I have an issue connecting my AV Receiver to a Smart TV. The sound works perfectly when watching cable TV. When I switch to an App such as Netflix, the sound reverts to the TV speakers. After 23 minutes of reading the manual, asking questions that did not pertain to the problem, and putting me on hold, he decided to connected me to Yamaha. They were closed. I just hope that I never need a repair.
