my original pole extended to 21' never bent had it over 23 years, pole was was swept away in a hurricane how thick (guage) is the extention pole?

Not sure how thick is the gauge but I believe it’s made of aluminum and it does bend if you put force to it.

Would this pole slide over the pole on a brush and then 2 little white pegs snap into holes on the pole?

The white snaps are made to press in to allowing the brush to lock in place

Not a heavy duty pole

I was not very happy with the quality of the pool pool. I saw all the good reviews so I thought I was buying a heavy duty pool broom pool. Then you UPS lost it and it came from New York and then maybe back to New York and then back to California. It was not even packaged in a box but rather in shrinkwrap. So By the time I got it it had multiple scratches dents and was smashed on the end where the broom and or in that is inserted. I had to repair it. The white rubber hanle was as also stained. But I recommend to save yourself a bunch of trouble just buy one like this at your local hardware store or pool store. Or spend more money on a higher quality pool room pool.

Great mix of light weight and durability

To be a 21 foot pole, it would have to be real heavy to be real sturdy. This 3 section pole seems to be plenty strong to clean our pool, I am very happy with both of the ones I bought. It flexes, but does a great job.
