Amazing Monitor
Absolutely love this monitor ! Replaced my cheaper LG 34 inch monitor from 5 years ago.The style, picture quality and refresh rate are amazing.Bit pricey for the specs, but cannot fault quality or design.

Amazing experience didn’t last long
The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: Great product but faulty.Honestly, I have all good things to say but 1 bad thing. The pixel density is amazing, played games and it was beautiful. Can have multiple tabs open optimising work flow, huge time save. But the monitor just broke only on day 2. The RBG lighting on the monitor and stand returned to factory settings so it’s most probably a hardware fault. I actually loved it while it lasted.

So pleased with my purchase, will never go back to a smaller display!
I originally tried a 32" 16:9 4K display from another manufacturer, but after using it for a few days I wasn't happy with it. I decided to get this ultrawide instead after reading many good reviews in various different places, and I'm so glad I did! The 120hz refresh rate is quite frankly incredible, and easily trumps the 60hz 4K display I returned, having now seen the difference I would personally choose a higher refresh rate before choosing a higher resolution. The ultrawide 21:9 aspect ratio at 34" is also superior, anything above 27" at 16:9 adds screen real estate which is either too high or too low to be useful. My only gripe is the lack on inputs, you can only get the full 120hz refresh rate using the DP input, the only other input is HDMI and can only be used at 60hz which is a shame. I would have prefered at least 2x DP inputs at 120hz so that I can use both my workstation and my laptop at the full refresh rate.

Buyer Beware !
This Monitor is absolutely superb in many respects and the picture quality is stunning.Regarding Customer Service and the Warranty. The very polite and helpful CS person told me that the broken Joystick on the back of the Monitor is not covered by the Warranty. This is used to navigate through the Menu and has become inoperable. So the the Monitor is set up and works but it is now impossible to alter Settings. We've checked with a Local Repair Shop and they will see if it can be replaced/repaired.We'll keep you Posted regarding this. We are very annoyed that this Fault is not covered by Dell's Warranty !Short answer ! This repair is not possible. So much for Dell's Warranty !

Must have.
Superb. Yes bigger screens are available. But not with a 1m/s response time. Yes it's a lot of money. But it's worth evet penny. Beware if you intend to mount it on a monitor stand. Not difficult but some improvisation is necessary. If I can save up I would get two more of these for a triple monitor set up. In the meantime the use of just the one is jaw dropping enough.

Excellent.
Amazing monitor, i simply can not fault this monitor besides one minor issue and thats the IPS glow typical with most IPS monitors, on a very dark screen and brightness turned up there is some glow from the corners, not seen with content on screen.I switched to this monitor after buying an MSI mpg341cqr 144hz ultrawide and being so disappointed with it, the picture quality on this monitor is pristine, the colour is super strong, accurate and punchy, the gsync works as it should, the pixel response times are excellent.I can only advise not bothering with VA panels at or around this price regardless of "specs", they have the same problems as any VA panel which is the ghosting and smearing, never actually feeling like 144hz but a monitor like this with an IPS panel is excellent.Im stunned.

Amazing monitor but rubbish quality assurance
The monitor itself has amazing picture quality and diffuses colours across its panel in a blended fashion. It being an IPS monitor heavily helps colours to pop out further with its already amazing picture quality. The quality overall to the build and the tiny touches such as the lighting all make the product feel very premium, however thats where the good stops.Quality AssuranceYour mileage may vary but i've gotten this monitor twice. The first time it arrived with a strange orange colour shift where everything yellow seemed reddish in colour, the bottom of the screen where the alienware logo is had a weird plastic film sticking out for whatever reason. It felt refurbished or repurposed. And finally the monitor had a dead pixel towards the centre of the screen. Roughly two that were together.Fast forward to a month for my replacement. Monitor arrived again, heavy damage to the box itself. Some minor scuffs to the stand were discovered when unboxing with black marks. Could clean it off with a damp cloth fairly easily. No weird colour shift and no other visible damage and finally no weird plastic lip sticking out at the bottom of the monitor. (You wouldnt pay £999 for a monitor with something like that so i was genuinely surprised that happened) Finally i set it up and use a high quality displayport cable that i went out of my way to buy for this monitor to make sure there are no issues.Another dead pixel towards the centre of the screen again. either the quality assurance is extremely poor or the panels Dell are using are intentionally poor quality.Images will be posted of the replacement monitor ive gotten. I deleted images of the previous monitor because i thought it may be a one off issue. Im going to try one last time to see if i was just extremely unlucky. I got a refund and the monitor is now on sale for a lower price. If the 3rd monitor comes with no defects i will update the review to clarify this. Be aware there is very little information about dead pixels on the internet for this monitor and could just be my luck.Be aware the dead pixel may be difficult to see due to amazon's image compression when uploaded.
