Complete waste of money
The pickup is very intermittent causing the tachometer and strobe to stop working during use. Also had the tacho reading from 700-2500rpm on an idling engine. When I tried to time an engine the problem with the strobe caused the timing mark to jump about. I have now tried the lamp on a few engines and had the same issues.

Works great
Simple to use, accurate and helpful. Used it a half dozen times already and works like it's supposed to every time. The readout is clear and bright. The strobe is ok. I was using it in my garage in the middle of the day and it seemed just a bit dim. Even still, it works just fine. Hasn't been dropped yet, so I cannot attest to the durability of the plastic.
