Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 - PlayStation 2

Works great

I played this game back in 2004 with my brother on the Gamecube. We had a lot of good times playing against each other and besides maybe TW 2004 this was the best, even after playing TW 2006 and 2007 (and not getting far into the games) I went back and played 2005. I played a lot of Hot Shots Golf....HSG 4(PS2), HSG OOB (PS3)and HSG WI (Vita) the past 4 years and right now I only have a PS2, so I replayed HSG 4. After that I needed something else to play, so I ordered TW 2005. I not into a lot of games, since 1986 I played mostly golf games and FPS like Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake and Half Life on the computer, the consoles mentioned above and on my first pc, the Commodore 128.If anyone has played any TW golf game I would recommend this game, TW 2005 or even TW 2004.I gave it 5 stars cause I loved playing it now as well as when it was first released, plus it brings back memories of me and my twin brother (passed away) playing it.

i bought this game. It was suppoed to be new. I put it in the console. The broswer came up. I clicked on the disc icon. the screen went blank and the icon came back. This disc didn't work.

One of my all time favorite games and one of the best tiger woods games in my opinion and like the other games iv ordered came brand new in the case wrapped in plastic like I went and bought it new today even though it's 2005

I owned this several years ago in my first PS2 phase. After playing other systems, I bought it again and had to have this game! It is the best golf game (maybe still) in this series and I can't stop hitting the links!

Disc was in amazing shape for being used

Bought it when it first came out & haven't stopped yet. I have a PS3 & have TW09 & TW10 but i still like this one the most. To me this one is the easiest to play & I like having up to 34 tournaments a season to compete in, the newer games only have 20 tournament seasons. On TW05 you can play tournaments with multiple profiles at the same time, up to four, something else you can't do on the newer games. Also, the newer games drop your abilities down some when you have bad rounds so you constantly have to keep your player practicing when not playing in actual tournaments to keep up their attributes, this is a serious pain & takes up un-necesary time that you could be progressing through the games. On TW05, once your guy or girl is maxed out, they stay that way no matter how lousy a round you have. I also like the trophy room portion of the game. The only thing this game doe's not do is track how many victories you have in career mode, they tell you how you did at the end of the year as far as wins & money & the money carries over because there's a goal on the game to finaly catch & surpass Tigers winnisgs but they do not carry wins over. I wish EA would just make an updated version of this exact game with all the same options, all they need to do is update the graphics for PS3. If you still have a PS2 & want a fun & easy to play version of Tiger Woods golf for the whole family, pick this one up.

This game I played years ago and had a lot of fun with is perfect for me. I can replay some of the challenging courses that this game offers and relive the winning feeling that comes with playing one of EA SPORTS better games for the PS2.

Excellent game. I bought a used copy and it arrived in good shape and has played as consistently as possible in the ol' PS2, which is a buggy-sort of unit that locks up and freezes and shuts down every so often, through no fault of the golf game. Can't wait to get the PS3 unit soon.

The disc was scratched and I couldn’t get it to load. I gave it a 1 star rating because zero wasn’t an option.
