Clairefontaine

I bought my first Clairefontaine from Fountain Pen Hospital, and my fountain pens wrote flawlessly on it. I was so pleased with the quality of the paper, I ordered this one (which is NOT from Fountain Pen Hospital). The quality of paper on this one is not even good enough to rate as awful. None of my fountain pens or roller ball pens write on it, even my high quality ball point pen struggles on this. The quality of paper gets worse each page and I am at the point where the only pen that will write on this paper is a Sharpie. I am beginning to wonder if I got 2nd, 3rd or worse quality - possibly even their rejects for this note book. I will try Clairefontaine again, but only will purchase from Fountain Pen Hospital.

Best pastel paper I have ever used. Expensive but worth it!
