We watched a youtube video and learned how to replace our carburetor. The parts all fit and the repair went smoothly. Before we replaced the carburetor we tried to fix it with carburetor cleaner spray but the spray did not work. We have had luck in the past with carburetor cleaner spray on a snowblower. Please note, if you properly winterize your gasoline powered equipment (chain saws, mowers, hedge trimmers) when you will not be using it for a few months replacing the carburetor would probably not be needed. Winterizing is easy to do. You can learn how to winterize your equipment on youtube.

The kit included a gas cap! Amazing value and it works just like new. Now we'll see how long the fuel lines last as that was the part that failed from last years kit.

I bought this for an HS45 Hedge trimmer. The carb was perfect and the spark plug worked but the gaskets, tubes and filters were all for something else. Reused my old gasket and put the carb and plug on in ten minutes. Started right up.

The spark plug was wrong everything else was right and worked well so for the money I think its still a good buy.

Very good kit for the money would have cost double at the dealership if not more for the same item
