A Must-Have for Fresh Ink!
This tattoo ointment came in so handy! I recently got a new tattoo and was super nervous about keeping it clean and healing properly. This ointment really put my mind at ease — it soothed the area, kept it moisturized without being too greasy, and helped prevent any irritation. I used to stress about dryness or scabbing, but having this on hand made the healing process so much smoother. Definitely something I’ll keep stocked for any future tattoos!

Best Tattoo Ointment available
As someone who has always been a hustle butter advocate. H2O has surpassed it in my mind. Very easy on the skin and a great ointment. Absorbs in minutes and isn’t greasy or sticky on the skin. Works great and is a better value for tattoo care.

Overall Fairly Effective
I like to use this product for the first 3-7 days after getting a new tattoo until it is through the peeling stage. I've used a wide variety of products over the years and I find this to be the easiest application, least offensive scent, and overall effective. I typically heal pretty quickly so I start peeling at about day 3 and am typically done within a day or two. I will also continue using this if I want a better barrier between my new tattoo and the world for any reason as healing continues. It is a bit greasy but not terribly different than Aquaphor or A&D, plus I find it easier to wash out of my clothing. After the majority of the peeling has occurred I switch to more traditional cream lotions (depends on the local market availability for which brand I use) for the next couple of weeks as I've found my prolonged use of these gel products causes occasional breakouts.
