I’m using this with pfsense and my Ubiquiti setup and works GREAT! Comparable with every configuration I’ve thrown at it. High quality and survives the heat from the machines. Great value for the money. Easy to use, just plug and play, no setup required.

I used these modules to connect an Cisco 2960x to a ubiquiti UDM-Pro. These modules even support showing transceiver details on the cisco end. I am very happy with my purchase, i would buy again. I paid about $30 for 2 SFP+ transceivers and a om3 Patch cable. I have seen 0 issues after about a week of using these. I have not been able to test more than 1g through these as all my devices are 1g. for the price, you cant beat them.

I previously gave these a 1 star rating, as I couldn't get a link to come up at all. It was user error and my apology is in the form of a 5 star rating. Sorry 10g module guys, it was my mistake.

Great connector and very much needed

10 of 10 were defective. Packaging claims manufactured by 10GTech yet there was no quality control since all were defective. Edit 2026-02-26: Wow, I must commend the Customer Service from Hifiber. They truly care about supporting their product and customer satisfaction, a very rare quality. As the initial root cause of the lot of ten failing is unknown, other same item product is working flawlessly. I'm deducting a star only because of the original issue, otherwise the product is fine. When closely comparing the Hifiber product with other vendors, I will say that I prefer their retaining clip verses say a 10Gtek item. I went through a battery of testing with known working product to include devices such as the Aoostar WTR-MAX (Intel 710 NIC's) on various switches such as the TRENDnet and generic Realtek reference design switches with SFP+ slots. I even went as far as testing interoperability of the Hifiber and 10Gtek and everything is working as expected. Don't shay away from this brand because they truly care and their pricing is very good.

I needed to connect a brand new Unifi Pro Max switch with a UDMP Pro using 10Gb optical. These two SFPs worked perfectly. They were instantly recognized by both devices and the performance has been excellent. I would buy them again without question.

Got them for so i can get 10GB from server to switch they work very well and using them on a dell power connect 5548 and a Broadcon sfp+ Card 57711

Läuft an meinen beiden Mikrotik-Geräten ohne Probleme, wurden ohne Probleme als "Intel" erkannt und liefen sofort. Bzgl. Wärmeentwicklung kann man auch Entwarnung geben, die stehen bei konstant bei 37Grad. Bei dem Preis für ein paar Module, bin ich sehr positiv überrascht. Auch die Verarbeitung sieht und fühlt sich super an. Kurz: Top Teile!

Macht was es soll, bleibt kühl (im Vergleich zu Kupfer), erreicht 10G, keine Auffälligkeiten mit Mikrotik Switchen.. Ob wich damit einen Mission Critical Server anbinden würde oder den Back-Bone einer Firma, wüsste ich jetzt nicht.
