They are reflective and you can stick them in the ground easily. We tied fluorescent making ribbon to the tops and used them to mark where trees/ bushes and other plants are so they are not mowed over. It works fine for this purpose and is less expensive than wood stakes.

Sloth here. I didn't buy these as driveway markers, nope. We live in a very rural area. I have lousy eyes, and sometimes do not see the holes that the assorted woodland critters have dug in our two acre yard. I got these poles to mark the worst of the holes until I get them filled in. Most are dug into the downhill slope near the treeline in back. Three of us retired folks live here, and I don't want any of us to sprain or break any parts.These help me watch out when mowing or walking the dog, and they do that well. Just for fun, I wore an LED headlamp one night and "tested" these marker sticks. Wow do they pop out of the dark with a bit of light on them! I have some left over, so I might actually use them to mark the edges of the driveways!

I will use them for staking the edge of my driveway this winter so I know where to steer my snow blower. Right now I'm using a few of them to mark some errant asparagus plants in my raspberries.

More than 25 would be better make it even number like 30
