This is a great set for the price! All hand made and look really neat. You do not need to pull much so they are good for smaller kids, but they will still need some adult supervision at least at first until they get the hang of it. The rubber tips on the arrows are great, they resemble real medieval arrowheads and stand up pretty well. I gave 3 stars for accuracy only because of how they are designed. You slide an arrow through a hole in the handle that lines it up with the string. Because it goes through the handle and not along the side of it, you cant aim very precisely as the handle blocks your view. As these are most likely intended for make believe and fun, and not for target practice, this does not bother me. They ship as a set and one of the bows had a defect that caused it to break rather than flex. I contacted the seller and they were AMAZING! They quickly replied to my email and, after giving them my address, sent me a replacement which arrived very fast. Overall I am completely satisfied with this product as well as the level of service they provided. I definitely recommend these if your kid is into fantasy play like Lord of the Rings etc.

This is a great starter set.

One bow broke, I bought 4. But overall, despite one braking, great quality product, shoots GREAT, was a big hit at our kids' party. Easy enough for a 7 or 8 year old to use by themselves. Our 5 year old couldn't quit get it. Arrows not dangerous, rubber tip.

This bow is perfect for my 6yo who is obsessed with Brave and with the Tangled tv series. It's a good size for her and easy for her to use with the hole to thread the arrows through. We bought the package that has double of everything, and put half of the stuff away before giving her the bow as a present. If/when she loses or breaks this one, we will have the extra as a backup. So far, after a few months of off and on use, the bow is still in perfect shape. One arrow had the rubber tip come off, but we glued it back on with e6000 glue and it hasn't been a problem since. We will probably pull them all off and glue them sometime soon, just to make sure the heads don't fall off and get lost in the grass. For anyone planning to give this as a gift, just a heads up, it is just in clear plastic inside a big box. No labels, nothing to make it look nice as a present. We took it out of the plastic and wrapped it up in some tissue paper which at least made it a little prettier as a package. Lastly, we adults have had more than a little fun with this thing. We had a contest where we had to spin around and then nock, draw, and shoot the bow. Also just had fun seeing who could shoot the farthest. Longest shot went around 30 feet! It did have a tailwind so I'm not sure how much credit we can claim haha.

I bought this product to use as props for my kids' "Literature Day" costumes, so I paid more attention to look than anything else. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them though as they were way better than what I'd expected. These things are really well made! They're durable, super easy to use (the arrows go through a whole in the bow rather than being knocked on the side) and enough power to be enjoyable. That last bit is something to be aware of. The soft rubber point will still easily penetrate a thick piece of cardboard at 5-8 feet so teaching your kids to treat them like real weapons is a good idea. These are not for shooting in the house or at other people and supervision is a must. I use them as a great tool to talk about safety and being aware of your surroundings, especially since the arrows are unfletched and the shafts aren't always straight so "aiming" is more determining general direction than anything else. The only problem we ran into is the rubber tips don't always handle the force of impact very well and a few broke off or tore pretty quickly. It comes with a lot of arrows though, so unless you're super unlucky, the attrition won't be an issue. Overall though, these are really high quality, especially for the price, and the product exceeded my expectations by a lot. The kids love them and it's been a great "thing to do outside with dad" item for our family.
