It certainly is a hair removal wax!Getting the temperature and thickness just right is a bit tricky. A little more wax and a little less heat seems to he the trick.This wax doesn't pull my skin off with it like some other waxes. Alcohol removes any residue.I don't have a warmer for this so I used the stove on low.

I've been using Sally Hansen wax strips my whole adult life but recently decided to try out Gigi for a more natural and healthier wax formula. Being new to waxing with a stick I noticed that you need technique to be able to spread the wax evenly so you can peel it off without cloth. I don't have the skills, so ended up using squares of paper towel (like muslin cloth) to help me remove the wax. I recommend that GiGi includes some stencils for common shapes, like a half moon for eyebrows and a small rectangle for other hair on the face. If you can fill in the stencil with wax then remove the stencil and let the wax harden, you'll be able to cleanly peel off the wax.

I am having difficulty applying, or rather removing it. When I remove it, very few hairs are on it. It isn't working for me. And my usually non-sensitive skin has red bumps or scabs now. I will not buy it again.

I’m not a fake review I promise. I have tried the wax strips and the colored pellets. I gave up on waxing but this stuff is legit. It removes all of your thick hairs and peach fuzz. I’m so happy I found this wax!!! I realized it’s better to use when it’s more thick rather than runny. Don’t let it melt all of the way or it becomes too hot for the skin.

I have found this is very hard to use. The melted wax is like water. When I try to remove it, it is impossible to get a good grip on the cooled wax. I will keep trying to use it for a bit, but I think it might be going out.

It was awful. I had a terrible time getting the wax off my face and could not tell it removed any hair.

This wax has proved to be rather gentle on my sensitive skin while also doing a good job of removing hair. I plan to continue using this product. I only wish I could warm it up in the microwave—I don’t want to buy a separate warmer.

I love using this stuff though I did not look closely what size this was when I ordered it. It is real small but is fine. Seems to last. Next time I will order a bigger one.
