TWZ51902 - Strawberry Twizzlers Licorice

I bought the black licorice and they were great in taste band they were fresh.

The two plastic containers arrived in a single Tyvek envelope. I was disappointed the two containers were not shipped in a box as the lids were crush and broken and the containers were broken. Fortunately, I was able to salvage the individually wrapped licorice - although I have to find a container to hold the candy.

I sent this to my son while he was working at a sleepaway camp. This was left on the staff lounge for all to enjoy. Sharing while being sanitary!

It was good value for money. I bought them for my granddaughters birthday party.

These do not have the same 'Twizzler' taste and texture.The taste of the licorice itself is Strawberry. Kind of like that Strawberry Pop Tart strawberry if I had to describe...completely artificial though kind of addictive none the less. The filing is like a thick, white almost like icing, sugary paste. I am not making this sound appealing but I ate 3/4 of a pack in one sitting.The texture is softer than your regular licorice though not as soft as Australian licorice. It is kind of like a soft rubbery plastic.I seriously wondered if there is some kind of addictive chemical added to these products as who in their right might would gobble down plastic texted red straws filled with sugared paste in the manner that I have been?!

I'm not a fan of original twizzlers, but I once had some (years ago) that were so amazing, and I thought they were blueberry and strawberry flavored. I am not a fan of these. The combination of the creme filling and the licorice, is in my opinion, not a good combination. I tried squishing the creme out, which was very difficult, and the licorice part was not horrible. But not very good either.

Très frais, livraison rapide. Un peu cher pour la grosseur du paquet vue que dans certaines boutiques ce paquet est 4$ avec taxes, mais ça en a value la peine. Merci beaucoup.

Of course, the classic twizzlers are a 5/5 star so I had to keep it real and give these a 4/5. Not because they aren't great, just to be fair. They're much better than the other wacky twizzler flavors, and everyone I passed them around to liked them also.
