Upstar M27A1 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

Great monitor. Came really quickly. Was a great price! Works perfectly as a secondary monitor for my laptop! Would buy it again!

Purchased two of these to replace 9 year old LG monitors and upgrade to a proper 16:9 aspect ratio and 1080p resolution. The first two worked great, so I went ahead and ordered a third. I realized the third monitor was defective immediately after powering it on. Blacks were displayed instead as fuzzy red static, ruining the background of any dark photos or video. I contacted Amazon immediately for a refund, and after waiting 2+ weeks for a replacement I was greeted with yet another defective unit. The replacement had a crack on the inside of the glass coating and would only alternate between red, green, and blue patterns regardless of input. These monitors are a great value when they work - which so far seems to be about 60% of the time. I'll update again in a few months with any updates.

This is by far the worse display I have ever bought.. And have purchased about 20 over the years. The text is blurry and each line of text is slightly different color. Went to store to buy instead because I could wait any longer and returned this one. Told my story to the saleman and he stated that is brand has one of the worse quality reputations. Well, now I know. In this case, you get what you pay for. Good luck.

I ordered a second hand screen. It arrived in great shape three days before the due date and it was actually a 22" instead of a 20"!! It works great and I'm very happy of this product. NB: For those who want to use HDMI beware and look closely to the description: the 20 and 22" screens only have VGA (I use an adapter for my laptop and it works great). I got confused with the customer answers (who in fact talked about their 24, 27 and 32" screens).

bought this to upgrade our CEO's desktop monitor(long overdue, such an old sad display). Fantastic results on a budget! Makes me look good to be able to give her more screen size without breaking the bank. Will definitely look to buy another for my next workstation upgrade or build-out.

The monitor is what you would want, looking at the other reviews I was a little discouraged when buying the monitor but as soon at I plugged it in, it looked great. I rated 4 stars because the base going up has a very small amount of give when moving it side to side and it ONLY has a VGA input. BE AWARE OF THIS WHEN YOU BUY. It works with my computer great and I plan on possibly buying it again. I paid $50 for this monitor and it was completely worth it.

Had bright red vertical line about 3 inches in from L side of screen on start up. Picture was horribly over contrasted and brightened. Could adjust down and ended up with a pleasant picture. Unfortunately the line didn't go away and I tried to return it the following day. Here is where the poor rating comes in. Due to Amazon's stupid return system I was told that a replacement would be sent. Only after I agreed to a replacement did I find out that unfortunately Upstar didn't have another unit so I would have to live for 6 weeks without a replacement. Not acceptable. No communication from Amazon other than I could expect delivery 5-6 weeks later. As for the Upstar it is an acceptable monitor. I think mfg problems happen. For the money it is alright. Just expect to spend a little time in adjusting everything. Good color saturation. Not real good in high outside or room lighting.

Upside: Graphics are nice and clear. Downside: Screen does not tilt. It is fixed at 90 degrees. Very uncomfortable to look at if you put it on a desk. VGA port is the only connection so if your buying this to use as a second monitor you will have to buy a VGA to HDMI cable.
