SkipHop Boys' Forget-Me-Not 3 Piece Backpack Set, Specs, One Size

THRILLED with this for a 3 year old that needed a "full sized" backpack for preschool. I almost gave up my search for the perfect sized backpack. He's 39" tall and 35 lbs wearing a 3T. The shoulder straps tighten to fit wonderfully. Doesn't hang too low, and thick enough for proper storage. Tall and wide enough for a regular sized stiff folder, diapers and more. The folder doesn't get bent on the top corners. The zippers are jumbo sized for little kids and seem super durable!! I wasn't expecting nice thick zippers. Big zipper pulls for little fingers!! The vinyl clear pocket in front seems thick and durable and not prone to tearing. I love the big spacious name tags inside. The lunch box is a moderate size, and would fit a proper lunch of 3 or 4 items. I think the "third peice" lightning clip that hangs on the vinyl pocket can be used to hang the lunch box to the top handle. That's what I'd probably do, otherwise it would take up quite a bit of room in the bag. The elastic on the water bottle mesh pockets seems springy and sturdy. This seems like it will last for at least a year or more, it seems very durable and thick material. Not at all thin and flimsy. I'm SO happy with it!!!!!!!I've realized the clear front pocket is ideal for me to put our large food allergy sew/iron-on patch inside without having to sew it on.

I LOVE these Forget-Me-Not backpacks!!! This is the second one we have purchased!!! We Loved the one from last year so much we decided to go with the updated version for this years backpack. They are the PERFECT size for Pre-K/Kind age kids!! they fit them to a "T" They hold up really well. We still use the one from last year for trips and such. We also had a Zoo animal skip-hop backpack when my son was in head-start and it is still going strong, but it is not big enough to accommodate a full size folder that comes home with him at the end of each day. My son loves the fact the lunch box matches the backpack and he loves the cool colors. I will forever be a Skip-Hop Fan!!

I would highly recommend this bag to any mothers out there. The product is as depicted as on the website and better in quality than I expected. It is very spacious and deep with 2 large compartments and another zip compartment at the front. The cool thing about the zip compartment at the front is that it is actually transparent.It also has a water bottle net compartment at the side. My toddler has not gone to school yet but I am using it as her diaper bag and the lunchbox bag is just as great, spacious and adorable. I cant wait for the matching thermos, lunchbox and water bottle to arrive.

Good back pack and very cute. Fits a folder well but isn't too big for my 4 year old to handle. Wish the colors were a little darker but my son loves his "storm" back pack. I agree with the one reviewer who made the comment about this being labeled a "3 piece" backpack set. It should really be called a 2 piece set since I don't know many who would count a keychain as a vital part of a "set." But that aside, I would purchase again.

Great quality backpack and lunchbox. I really like the small outside compartment being see through so you can slip in teacher notes that will be seen. And it was bigger than what I was expecting. My kids love it. You can even get creative and place decorative paper or images in the see through outer pocket and lightning bolt to enhance the look. I got this for my son but my daughter loves it so we put frozen images in and it becomes feminine.

Very cute and well made. I love that there is a separate compartment for the lunch box and the main compartment is still plenty big for a full size folder, change of clothes and a coat, and more! My son is only 2 and his preschool required a regular size backpack. This does not swallow him and feels very light. I absolutely love it! Would highly recommend it. He likes it, too!

My child has carried a Skip Hop backpack for Preschool and Kindergarten. I was thrilled to see they carried a big kid line as well. I love the durability of the backpack. I just have one comment-and that is rename it to be a 2 piece backpack and not 3. It only comes with a lunchbox and the backpack, so I think they are considering the fob as an actual piece when it should not be. Other than that, no problems.

This backpack is the perfect size. I love all the compartments in it. Right now my son uses it for daycare and it's great to carry an extra set of clothes. This will definitely last him another year or 2. It is well made. We may buy another when this one finally wears out.

My son is starting 3 year old kinder next year and this bag will be the perfect size for his little body. Lunchbox big enough for him and separate compartment to store it. Cute lightning pattern. Good quality bag.
