Men's Jockstraps Athletic Supporters 4-Pack Cotton Work Out Underwear

I've been searching for a product like this for years, and I am so happy that I've found it. Every jockstrap that I've tried previously has had problems. Every one has had at least one of four different problems: * Too expensive * Poor quality stitching that goes out after a few washes * Materials like mesh or traditional jockstrap material that's a little scratchy at times * The cut is off, either the pouch is too deep, or the waistband is too narrow, or both These are perfect. Let's be clear, $6-$7/pair isn't exactly cheap, you could easily find Fruit of the Loom briefs for half that, but it's far from being the most I've spent searching for good jockstraps, or good underwear in general. Some of the materials used is the only point of contention I have with this jockstrap. There's nothing wrong with it per-se, but the material for the pouch is reminiscent of something you'd get with Fruit of the Loom, or cheaper Hanes products. The waistband fabric (which is also very important) is excellent, it looks fantastic, it's comfortable, the tension is right, and the bands (which are a different but similar material) are also great, but not quite as nice as the waistband. I am slightly disappointed by the pouch though. It's not worth docking the product a star because it checks all the other boxes (we'll get to that), but I have seen and felt better fabric in jockstraps before (sometimes even on the cheaper ones, though those ones usually fall apart after the first two washes). There's just nothing luxurious about it. Some jocks have a luscious, almost fleecy fabric that goes beyond just comfort, and into a more rich territory. At the end of the day, though, there's nothing scratchy in these, you aren't going to be dying to get these off and change into something more comfortable, and for the price there aren't a lot of competing products you can say that about. The stitching on these are great, and I am so relieved to be saying that. So many of the other jockstraps in this price range I've tried come with fraying ends, or hardly any stitching at all. Many of them just fall apart, even when you're careful to be delicate with them. I'll admit I haven't put these in the wash yet, so I can't say with absolute certainty how they'll handle that, but after inspecting all four of my pairs, and inspecting the quality and amount of stitching at all the joints, I'm assuming that these are going to last quite a while, at least long enough that it'll be economical to keep a number of them on hand, and replenish as needed. The only frayed end I have found are on the white pair I got. It's on the hem of the pouch, so I'm not worried about any of the joints coming undone, and I'm comfortable with just trimming the end of it, and letting it be. The three others are immaculate; no flaws whatsoever. What I really appreciate, is that while everything seems robust about these, there's nowhere on the finished product where the manufacturer has doubled up on the fabric for strength instead of spending more on the stitching. The only similarly priced jockstraps I have that survive the wash are plagued by that issue, where there's so much bunched up and layered material (especially where the secondary straps meet the pouch) that it becomes uncomfortable, and the jock loses its breathability. Not here. The joint at the bottom of the pouch has two rows of stitching (1 is 1" the other is 7/8") and they both go through the fabric of the pouch and both straps, lending a ton of strength there. Where the straps connect with the waistband, there is 1 & 1/4" U-shaped stitch (1/2" x 3/8"), spanning from the lower edge of the waistband, along the perimeter of the strap, where it joins under the waistband, and back down to the edge of the waistband. This is the highest quality joinery I've ever seen on a sub-$15 jockstrap. and certainly not on one so comfortable, and fashionable. A++ Finally, where this jockstrap really shines. The fitting is perfect. Now, I'm a big guy, I weigh 250lbs. I wear a XXL T-shirt, and 38" jeans. I usually get XL underwear. The XL is the perfect size for me, buy your normal size. The pouch is the right depth for me. That said, I tend to prefer lo-rise underwear and relaxed-fit jeans, so your mileage may vary. The waistband is a thick 2.25". This is important for me, because, admittedly, sometimes I get a bit of plumber's crack going on. What's more embarrassing than plumber's crack? Somebody noticing that there's an itty-bitty waistband a b o v e the plumber's crack. The 2.25" of waistband is plenty to eliminate that problem and conceal the fact that I'm not wearing 'normal' underwear. There's not quite as much tension on the straps as I would like, but it's not super loose, and the tension on the waistband is perfect. The width of the straps could be a little larger, to help with the tension, but overall comfort is great, and they feel sexy on me. I would absolutely recommend these to someone looking for a jockstrap, and that these will survival the washing machine a few times, I will be buying more for myself.

These fit well and the material holds up very nicely through MANY washings. They don't shrink and the colors remain vivid. The elasticity is holding up perfectly also. Nice colors!. Recommend. They do what they're supposed to do and that's a good thing.

These are very breathable and are good for everyday use. They aren’t too scratchy and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They support the groin well and feel light while being worn. They cover the groin perfectly and nothing slips out the sides. The material feels good and doesn’t get too sweaty in hot conditions.

Like them, they have small wast band, lot better than the wide ones, more comfortable, and fit better under your underwear or work out pants, to help per tech your package.

They look like they are good quality, the only note is they run a size smaller than your regular size. So order a size bigger than usual.

Currently in post-op from a vasectomy. Let me tell you these are a lifesaver, and hold your jewels just right. When I remove them to go to the restroom, I definitely notice the difference. Best way I can put it that would make males understand. Without them, imagine as a kid would "snap" you quick with thier hand in the nethers and the pain you felt. That's what it feels like without them. If you're going through the procedure, you will not regret having these. I'm a 34 inch waist, avg package, and bought a large if that helps any.

Bought these for post-surgical support. Best thing I ever did. Much better than the crap they send you home in. Extremely comfortable, almost sad I don't have to wear them anymore. Very sporty and attractive according to the wife. If in doubt about the sizing as I was, know that they will shrink after washing and drying. I do wish I had gone up a size, they still work but ride low on the hips.
