I bought these shoes as the old pair of shoes that I was using for work were well past their best and in dire need of replacement. Having tried some High Street stores with no success I eventually decided to try looking on Amazon for a pair of shoes, and after looking at several potential replacement shoes I decided upon these.Once the shoes arrived my first thought when I opened the box and inspected them was "Oh no, they've sent me the wrong size!" The shoes were marked as a size 11, although I'd ordered a UK size 10. However, upon trying them on I found that they were a perfect fit, although they were somewhat stiff at first, and when I placed them up against my old shoes they were exactly the same size. Therefore, if you do buy these shoes, remember that the size shown on the sole is the USA size, not the UK size. However, the sizing chart shown on the British version of the Amazon website is for the UK size, so the chances of ordering the wrong size in error are minimal.Moving on to how they actually feel when in daily use, I was expecting these shoes to give me some nasty blisters based on how stiff they felt the first time I tried them on, but having worn them to work every week since I first started wearing them I'm pleased to say that I still haven't had any blisters. Even though the leather uppers still feel very firm the shoes feel extremely comfortable when being worn all day, five days a week, which is extremely advantageous if you spend much of your day on your feet whist at work. Given that the leather uppers still feel somewhat stiff I do have to slacken the laces off quite a bit in order to get them on easily, but having said that these shoes are so comfortable to wear that I don't really see it as a problem. It's something I can live with and to be honest I really don't mind given how good they feel to wear.Overall these shoes have well and truly proven themselves to be a comfortable pair of formal shoes to wear for work, even on days when I've been working longer hours than normal and have ended up wearing the shoes for much longer than would normally be the case. If you want a decent pair of formal shoes that won't make you think "Christ, I'm glad I can finally get these damned shoes off my feet!" by the time you get home from work then I would definitely recommend a pair of these shoes if you like the look of them and are already contemplating buying a pair for yourself.

These were bought as school shoes and they are perfect, they fit great they are smart they look durable but only had them a few weeks so far so we’ll see however for the price they are fantastic.

We had an issue with a pair of shoes, spoke to customer services and they replaced the shoes. Really good customer service, fast and polite. Great product; we will be buying again. Thank you.

EDIT: customer service contacted me and we figured out an amendment, thank you! My item arrived damaged, was supposed to be wearing for a smart function and they arrived scuffed.

Honestly, these are the most comfortable shoes out of the box that I have ever purchased. I’d like them to be slightly narrower/stylish, but for the money - they are spot-on!

They look very smart and shiny for the price and have quite a lot of space; I find a lot of smart shoes can be too narrow, but these aren't bad.First impressions: I can really feel the shoe's joining section on the mid section of my foot (the foot before the toes). As I walk it feels like there is a slight lump here.Perhaps this will be walked out once I ware them in a bit - I bought these for a work Christmas party, so I suppose I'll see.
