Magpul Rubber Recoil Pad for Synthetic Rifle Stocks, Enhanced Rubber Butt Pad, 0.70"

I got this for my Magpul fixed stock. There's literally no padding on that stock. This pad was an easy install. 1:1 swap and extends length of pull.

I added this to my Magpul Fixed Carbine MOE stock, and it works perfectly, providing excellent eye relief for my LPVO. It fits securely on the stock, was simple to install, and offers great grip and comfort. Highly recommend!

Easy install, fit perfectly - and gave me the extra length of pull I needed.

You put this thingy on the stock then you put the stock thingy on your shoulder. What’s. not. to. like? It is firm, but it still does a great job of controlling recoil without being too squishy. As a result, I find it better for competitive shooting then, as an example, a Limbsaver, because it doesn’t move around as much and the recoil is more consistent, if not quite as comfortable. The gen 1 PRS also fits the FCS and that is what I used it on.

Purchased it for a Magpul Moe A2 stock. Fit was good. Added some room, I have long arms apparently. Much softer then the bandaid they call a butt pad on there from the factory. I feel it helped my shooting and lessened recoil a bit... but that may just be in my head. My only gripes are with the price, and I wish it was a little softer. Either way it works, and is worth it! A bit pricey for what it is, but Magpul is a name brand, and stands behind their product, so it was worth it.

Doesn't fit all stock butts

First off, these rubber butt pads will NOT fit the Magpul MOE stocks, despite the claim in the description (minus 2 stars for that). However, they DO fit the Magpul Fixed Carbine Stock and work really well. They're easy to install on the fixed carbine stock, using existing hardware and a couple of side tabs. And, they add a significant amount of (hard) rubberized padding and nearly another inch to the length of pull by effectively extending the rear of the stock. I like the grippy texture on the back of the pad, as well. Comfortable to shoulder and hold. Now, if only the seller would edit the description and remove reference to the other stock styles that simply will not work. Maybe then I'd give it 5 stars.

Nice product

I didn't buy this for recoil reduction, as it will be on an AR chambered in .223 / 5.56. I bought it to extend my PRS stock, and it does that perfectly, although not by much. In my case, I didn't need much. Satisfied with the purchase.
