Dirty Jobs Season 4

Although the full seasons of "Dirty Jobs" are getting difficult to find on DVD, they are sporadically available and totally worth your time (and money) to obtain (they are also available for download now if you prefer). Season four is a real gem, and is spread out on five DVDs. Some of the most iconic episodes are on display here as well as deleted scenes and the "200 Jobs Look-Back". The most disgusting jobs of this set are for me "Animal Rendering", "Diaper Cleaner", and "Spider Pharm" (which is both nasty and scary). Some of the jobs were unexpectedly vile ("Mattress Recycler" and "Toilet Crusher"), but the one I thought was the worst of the bunch was easily "High-Rise Window Washer". The scene of Mike (and the crew) crawling over the side of that building and into that tiny bosun's chair was the single most frightening moment of the series for me. My hat's seriously off to the crew who did it (and all the other jobs too)."Dirty Jobs" is a mixture of education, insight, humor, and humility that makes for great repeat viewing and this is a choice season full of unpredictable dirt and filth.

I'm a huge fan of Dirty Jobs, and of Mike Rowe, so my review and rating reflects that.My only critique would be of how Discovery Channel handles making seasons of Dirty Jobs available (or not.) In this "Season 4" set you get all episodes of that season. When you purchase a "collection" however, you only get a selection of episodes, and it also seems that they mix episodes from different seasons for their collections. Furthermore, some seasons are just flat-out not available on disc from Discovery. All this is mostly just an FWP (first-world problem) for those of us who love this show.I'm so glad that Discovery has decided to resume this show here in 2022!!!

I absolutely love Mike Rowe..Love this show..

Mike really makes this show, he is willing to do just about anything. The fact that they listen to their viewers and solicit input is refreshing. I get a whole new appreciation of some of the jobs that people do on a daily basis that most of us would not even consider.

Mike Rowe continues to amaze me with the dirty jobs that people do for living. My five year old loves season four especially the toilet crusher and diaper cleaner episodes. It is always hilarious to watch Mike and the crew get dirty. The show makes me appreciate my job!

Mike Rowe is the best, we love watching this show. It never gets old.

I found it very interesting to see the many difficult and dirty jobs people have, that we have no idea of, and that we take for granted.

Bought the episode about clam farming at Alligator point. Funny although I was cheap and bought the standard version. It was blurry on my tv.
