100% perfect. This senior's hair texture has changed over time and a new hairbrush was needed. I was delighted to have this well-made quality Kent brush arrive without any flaws or defects. It comes with an easy to use brush cleaner for cleaning the few head hair that might lodge in the brush from natural brushing. I bought this brush for the ample size and also for the mix of firm pure black natural bristle and nylon filaments. As advertised, this does stimulate my scalp and distributes oils throughout my hair - keeping it well styled and shiny plus the cushioned base keeps the bristles well balanced. Both set of bristles are of excellent length and never feel scratchy. It's obviously very well crafted and definitely worth every penny. I'm delighted with my purchase.

Love! A great MP alternative that still gives amazing results. I got the medium size and it’s perfect. Some others said the bristles were “too pokey” or sharp but I disagree. The combo of the boar bristles with the nylon is a great combo for detangling as well as distributing hair oils.

the black plasti-dipped tips that protect your skin from sharp nylon bristles wire were deemed unnecessary while designing this one and it is absolutely horrible; this is not a “dupe”, it is just an inferior brush with triple the price of the base modelit will rip your hair out and make a bloody mess of what is left

I recently purchased the the large brush. Ir does reach my scalp. The nylon brisles are hard so please be aware when using. The difference between these two classic brushes is that the pearson has less bristles which allows more hair to flow and the kent has bristles. Its very good brush

I love this brush so much! I bought it based off of Abbey Yung's recommendation. She did a thorough hairbrush video and said this brush is a great option if you want a Mason Pearson brush but won't spend more than ~$50 for a brush. I've had another less expensive MP dupe previously and this one is superior in construction, quality, everything! I considered buying another brush she preferred that was $100, but I'm so glad I tried this first. It's perfect for my needs. FWIW I have thin hair but a ton of it so I am prone to tangles. This is great to distribute your scalp oils, add shine and detangle in between washes. Planning to buy another for my daughter!

Excellent quality and design. This brush has a design that is slightly flatten in the center, It molds to the shape of your head that allows the brush to get deep to the scalp and really brush though. Detangles extremely well. This brush is great to style with a blow dryer, it help me dry my hair straight. The handle of the brush is smooth feels great to touch and yet designed in a way that it will not slip out of your hand. Dry or wet this brush makes my hair smooth and straight does not cause frizz or puffiness of any kind. I have a medium amount of hair that is fine texture, with a slight wave to it. This brush is my new holly Grail.

Terrific brush - but, in my opinion, only in the large size. On the smaller sizes, the "cushion" has absolutely no give and is as hard as a car tire. More of a pad to embed the bristles in than a cushion. But on the large brush, the cushion actually depresses with pneumatic action (this is the "air cushioning"), which makes it kinder to the scalp while still delivering an invigorating sensation from the nylon quills. Of course the boar bristles do somewhat impede it from bulldozing through thicker hair and maybe not the best for wavy hair either and yes kind of a hassle to deep-clean but OTOH... there's far less fall-out. I'll take what I can get in my middle aged battle to keep the hair I still have!

The nylon quills were like sharp needles and when I went to use it for the first time it scratched my scalp and drew blood. It did not feel good so I returned it for a full refund. Sorry that it did not work out.

This is a lovely brush excellent for thick medium length to long hair. The mixed bristles are a winner for thick hair as that is what is required to obtain the nice shine on thick hair vs full %100 boar bristles hairbrush. Kent do make lovely easy to carry easy to use hairbrushes. I had a Mason and Pearson hairbrush for over 25 years until it fell apart.I am not in a position to spend a few hundreds of dollars on a new Mason Pearson brush hence I researched the Kent Hairbrushes, and they are excellent and a great rival to Mason Pearson.This Kent Classic Shine Cushioned Bristle and Nylon Hairbrush, Medium is good.Delivery exceptional very prompt and delivery details have been followed precisely.Please note: The editorial brief information does clearly advise as does the photo/optics of the Kent hairbrush that an additional hairbrush cleaning tool is meant to be with the hairbrush. This is not in true. There is no cleaning tool with the brush at all in the box or anywhere it is actually missing from the kit.I did contact Amazon about this and Amazon willingly and expedited arranged for a brand-new Kent brush set to be delivered to me for free. Amazon also sent me a free Postage paid label to send the incomplete brush set back to Amazon which I did.I received my replacement new Kent Hairbrush set today; I quickly opened it up to check if the cleaning brush is in there and sadly it is not.I have decided to keep the new replacement brush, and I have to emailed/reached out to Kent Brushes themselves to the customer service Centre to request a hairbrush cleaning tool to please be sent to me via the mail.Kent Brushes will do this provided a copy of your sales invoice is sent to them via email with your date and venue of purchase.I strongly suspect that Amazon have a large shipment of the Kent Classic Shine Cushioned Bristle and Nylon Hairbrush, Medium, that do not have the cleaning tool in its box.Now this does not at all affect the usage or primary main usage purpose of a lovely Kent Classic bristle brush, but on absolute principle as I paid for a top quality hair brush that is meant to come with its cleaning care tool I expect the tool that helps maintain and support the care of said hairbrush to be in the presentation box as that is what is advertised and that is what I have paid for.thank-yo for your time with reading my feedback and review of the lovely Kent hairbrush.

Llevo un tiempo usándola y la sensación al cepillar es claramente más agradable que con un cepillo normal. En mi caso tira bastante menos del pelo y se nota mucho más suave en el cuero cabelludo, así que para desenredar a diario me ha resultado bastante cómoda. Ese punto para mí es lo mejor del cepillo.El modelo CSML es el grande de la gama Classic Shine y combina cerdas de jabalí con púas de nylon sobre base acolchada. En la mano se siente como un cepillo “serio”, no barato, y el tamaño va bien para pelo medio o largo porque cubre bastante superficie en cada pasada. Además, esa mezcla de cerdas hace que no sea solo agradable, sino también útil para alisar un poco y repartir mejor la grasa natural del pelo, dejando algo más de brillo.Ahora bien, mi pega es importante: el mío no venía con la herramienta de limpieza, pese a que en las imágenes y en la descripción sí aparece. Y no parece un caso aislado, porque hay reseñas de compradores que comentan exactamente lo mismo. Por eso me parece publicidad algo engañosa.Comparado con cepillos más corrientes, este se nota bastante más delicado con el cuero cabelludo. Lo recomendaría a quien priorice comodidad y un cepillado suave, pero compraría sabiendo que el accesorio de limpieza puede no venir incluido.

Brilliant brush. Glides through hair and sets goes with no pulling. I love it.
