Garmin and this refurbished watch are fantastic
I got this watch in PERFECT condition. No dents, chips, scratches, battery issues, etc. Saved myself $15 and helped the planet by going for the refurbished one and I'm glad it pulled through. The watch itself is phenomenal. If you're into (primarily running, but there are many others) working out you need a Garmin watch. I suggest going to the Garmin website or watching a few videos before you buy one because Garmin sells like 30 sportwatches, all with different capabilities. So if you're a swimmer, this watch can track it but it might not give you the best metrics compared to one devoted to swimming. This watch is devoted to running (but still tracks a lot of biking and other workouts) so it really depends what you like working out the most. You can find good indepth reviews of this watch and others on YouTube so I'll just say it's a great watch (even though I bought it two years old it still has a ton of health features and I don't feel like it's lacking at all), an amazing battery life, and it came in PERFECT quality.

Reliable, good pulse ox for sleep apnea
What I like best about this watch is that it tracks your oxygenation during sleep, which is useful for sleep apnea sufferers like me. Indirectly it tells you how well or how poorly you breathed during sleep, what your lowest oxygenation was during the night, as well as your average oxygenation. Also tracks your resting heart rate. During sports activities like bicycling it displays your heart rate, speed, mileage, and the display is easy to read at all times, no matter if it’s sunny or dark outside.

Great watch for running
I got tired of the constant barrage of notifications from my Apple Watch, and I’m a runner, so I decided to switch. Lemme tell ya, it’s been fantastic. No notifications yelling at me on my wrist all day, and awesome running metrics. The daily run coach is great and I’ve honestly noticed myself improving by following the recommendations instead of doing my usual runs. Plus, the battery lasts me easily 9 days, which is awesome. 10/10 would buy again

Ease of use
It is easy to set up. GPS and run pace is great. The only thing is that the battery usually last 3 days. But sometimes it only last 1 day for some reason. Plus side is that charge from 15% to 100% is about 1 hour.

Garmin vs Whoop
Way better than I expected. At first the heart rate was massively off, but that’s because I was wearing it like a regular watch. You need to wear it above the wrist bone. I just switched to this from my Whoop, because it gives me a lot more analytics, and is an actual watch with other features :-) Comparing side-by-side, the Garman gave a very similar breakdown of sleep cycles, heart rate, but then also gave: temperature, elevation, cadence, a free very in-depth and easy to use running program, A way to look at all my data without having to use my darn phone, and a heck of a lot more. Biggest challenge with the Garman, is that it is so capable of so many things, I had to watch a lot of YouTube videos to figure out how to use it. For everything it does though, with no subscription pricing, Garmin is the superior device in my opinion.

Watch is great, refurb is a great deal.
I originally get a new FR45, but after trying it it was limited in a lot of customizability I wanted (custom faces with seconds update, custom data fields, apps, widgets, etc). The refurb FR255 was only $15 more and with a larger screen and the above called out features I don't know why anyone wouldn't get this. It came in refurb packaging, but had all accessories and looked brand new. Been using for a week now and love it.
