CorelleLivingware 10-3/4-inches Dinner Plate, Watercolors

For what they are they are attractive and functional. I wish I'd bought plain rather than such a busy pattern on Corelle as I think Corelle looks best when you don't overdo the busyness of the pattern. But if that doesn't bother you then the plates are perfectly fine.Update August 2013: I've had them five years now and they have really grown on me and have held up extremely well. They microwave with no problem and are fine in the dishwasher even on the bottom rack. I would definitely buy them again if I didn't already own enough, and recommend them to others. They also take up very little 'head room' in the cupboard, they lie so flat together. Just very good, attractive, and fully functional plates. Also, full sized without being oversized, if that makes any sense to you. Haven't broken one yet either. I raised my rating to the full five stars now.

I really like the design and this pattern has good reviews which is why I purchased them. The design in rough like a matte finish. Most people may not care but it creeped me out.

This is the 2nd set of I have purchased of this pattern. They are beautiful and light in weight. The first set seemed to have flaws in the pattern, and warp. There's no doubt that Corelle has gone down in quality since dinnerware I purchased 35 years ago. My place settings were white with tiny green flowers around the outer edge and were passed down to my mother and now to my sister and still look the same as day one! They have been through the dish washer many times. The sets I have just purchased have been hand washed and warp! I am not happy about this at all but have settled because I do not want ceramic or porcelain for every day use any longer. Beware, if you drop one on a hard tile floor it will shatter into a million pieces and cost me $9 to replace the plate!

Functional sturdy and pretty...Great price too. I purchased the large diner plates and they are plenty big. I wish the boarder was shinier though...Corelle is also made in America...

I love these! I actually have two full sets of this set and wanted to have extra dinner plates so extend the time between loads for my dishwasher. I've owned Corelle dishware for 40 years. It is extremely durable. I went to ceramic plates for a couple of years but was frustrated with knife marks that increased over time so they were no longer acceptable with which to serve guests. These stay new looking forever, resist breaking and the color stays the same. They are light weight and take up very little height even with multiple sets.

I purchased six of the Corelle Livingware dinner plates in the Watercolors pattern for my daughter for Christmas to supplement her other everyday dishes (stoneware). She has two young children and based on my experience, I thought she could really use these. I have had my Corelle Ivy pattern dishware for 30 years and have never met a more practical everyday dinner plate. They are lightweight and do not chip or fade. I've used several other brands and styles of casual dinnerware over the years and although they start out beautiful, in time they chip and fade. I recently decided to move our Corelle set to our boat where we needed dishes that were lightweight and durable and would hold up under possible rough seas (I did not want plastic or melamine). My daughter was happy with her gift and she loved the Watercolors pattern.
