With Studio sessions to global workouts and even cross-training options Like yoga and full-body sculpting, our world-class coaches provide endless variety. Review: I keep it in my dining room. I get to visit anywhere in the world where I want to while I workout. I'm learning about new places. I get to visit these places with my own personal guide and if I so desire, I can revisit as many times as I want all while getting my workout in! I can join different challenges if I want. I love it. Review: I am a mid-distance runner, and I live in the rainy Pacific Northwest where outdoor running is absolutely miserable during the winter months. I used to be an Orangetheory member pre-pandemic, and was spoiled rotten by their treadmills (very cushy on the knees) after hating treadmills because I was used to crappy ones with zero deck flex. However, I don't see myself joining a gym again because 1. pandemic and people are gross, and 2. I needed a more flexible schedule and I got tired of overbooking my life to squeeze in a class at specific times. I have small kids and often run at night after they go to bed. My motivation to run at that time is not low, but my motivation to drive to the gym at that time is. We bought this treadmill as a Cyber Monday deal after agonizing over whether or not to go with a Peloton treadmill (but the aforementioned small kids and accidents scared us off). So far, the treadmill itself has met expectations and we love it. My knees are still fine without the overpriced Orangetheory treadmills, and I'm able to maintain my fitness this winter instead of sitting on my butt all winter and trying to desperately recover my fitness every spring. The treadmill is VERY heavy, you need 2-3 people to get it into the room to set up, and that's in pieces. (Some people have suggested keeping it in the box but it is way too heavy to move that way without some serious equipment or professional movers.) I would not suggest attempting stairs with it without professionals doing the work. Building was not difficult but you do need to follow the directions, and 2 people is best for attaching the screen (everything else can probably be done by one person). My husband (non-engineer but handy) did a step too early and it took me (engineer and stickler for directions) about an hour of explaining to him that was probably why not all the holes were lining up before he finally undid that step. He will still complain to this day that their tolerances are not good, but I'm 80% sure it was user error. The treadmill comes with a 1-year free iFIT membership. I love iFIT as a Peloton alternative, which was really my whole reason behind wanting a Peloton tread. I am currently doing a running series to build back up my running base, and their coaches are absolutely solid in terms of their knowledge about physical fitness (and in some cases, cultural knowledge, which was an added bonus that I wasn't expecting). I like that warm-ups and cool-downs are integrated into a workout or you can do a slightly longer pre-warm or cool-down up if you know your body well enough to design your own warm-up/cool down. With Peloton they seem to jump right in unless you pick out your warm up and cool down (and I don't like that because I want my warm-up/cool down to be customized to the actual workout I'm doing, not just a random one that I pick). However, I've had it freeze on me at least three times mid-workout, which is really frustrating because you can't restart workout where you left off, and in one case, it almost caused serious damage to my treadmill when it didn't return to zero incline and I tried to fold it up because I was done and frustrated. Fortunately I realized it wasn't folding correctly but it got jammed pretty good and took some delicate work to unstick, and a small piece did break off. This was within the first few days of owning it. iFit techncial support is slow and after several days of waiting for a response, their best suggestion was to wipe my cache. (Does this mean I lose all of my data generated so far?) We are pretty early into this (about 6 weeks) so I am unsure if I will pay to re-up the membership once our year is up. I am unsure what causes these freezes (I've seen suggestions that it's high user load or perhaps a Wifi interrruption). I am hoping this gets better, but if its the amount of users, the problem is only going to get worse because many people are jumping on the iFit bandwagon, and for good reason.

I was hesitant about buying a treadmill because I like to run outside but I needed something when it rains/is too cold & when it is too late/early to be outside by myself. I am so happy I bought it & i LOVE this model. I have been able to train so much more now that I have a treadmill! Pros: I was having knee problems before, and since I have been running on this treadmill, they have felt so much better! It has made a huge difference to switch it up and have the extra support instead of the asphalt all the time. I was worried that it would be loud, but you can seriously barely hear it. No one in the next room would know I was even on it, which is so imperative with my kids rooms by my workout room. This is probably the best part! I did NOT want something loud! The speaker is super loud & really good quality, especially while listening to podcasts. The Bluetooth is easy to set up & has a long distance- my phone can be upstairs & it will still work. The screen is big, really clear & easy to navigate- great quality! It doesn't feel like you're running on a treadmill and makes it so it isn't boring at all. I was worried about that because I have never liked treadmills in the past for that- but it has been fun to explore all my options & makes it not painful to stare at the screen- really feels like you're in the places. The workouts that it comes with are unreal. It is fun to pick a new spot to run to everyday...with all different goals in mind such as hiking, trail running, street running, cardio, strength, etc. Also really cool to be able to have a personal trainer and connect with others around the world to compete & train with. Definitely gives me more motivation! Fan is a game changer. It has multiple settings & really helps cool me off. Incline is intense! I was surprised how much it really inclines, super helpful for training and is smooth in transition. iFit is AMAZING. I did not realized how much it would really have on it. My purchase came with one year free- so thats a bonus. I will definitely renew at the end of my one year. Super motivating & so many workouts. Don't need a gym membership with iFit. Cons- Takes a few hours to set up & you need someone to help you. Big but not huge. Need the right space for it but can fold up & move easily. When I talked to my husband about buying it, he said he would never use it. After he saw the screen and the workouts, he has already been on it multiple times & has loved it as well. I am super happy with the investment and it has already helped my training a ton! Love everything about it.

I ordered this machine on August 2nd to help me train for a half marathon I was running in October. It took a month to get delivered. I know the package is huge so I wouldn’t take a star off for this even though waiting is hard. The delivery man was angry and slightly incompetent, getting mad that we weren’t helping him lift it. I was home alone with my children, the oldest of whom is 12. I was still recovering from a recent c-section (which is why I signed up for the race in the first place, to give me a goal to work towards as I got back into movement again) and couldn’t lend much help either. All I could do is watch as he dropped it and hope nothing was wrong. To be fair, it is VERY heavy and would be very hard to deliver alone, and maybe he was just having a bad day. So I wouldn’t even take off a star for delivery. However, I put the machine together the same day I received it, which really does take forever when your only help is young children. To my utter dismay, the machine didn’t work! The screen got stuck continuously on a loading loop. My husband got back from his work trip the next day and we contacted the help line. After walking us through all the fixes they could think of, they determined something was wrong with the console, and would ship us a new one. Another few weeks went by before the new part arrived, and together my husband and I got it replaced. Once again, this is not a simple fix, and took a long time with no instructions as we figured it out. Once we had it changed, and with another call to the help line, we were able to get it up and running. A fair warning, the machine only works if it is connected to slower WiFi. If your WiFi is too fast, the machine will crash mid-run. After all of this was figured out, the machine finally ran. And when it is running, it is great. The belt is smooth. The screen is huge. It’s easy to run manually, or customize your run by looking up a route on maps. If you make your own route on maps, the incline even changes with the elevation, and the screen shows you where you are with street view, which is pretty amazing. For a couple of weeks, this $3,000 machine worked great, and I even got a couple of training runs in before my October race. Unfortunately, not many runs in, mid-run the machine stopped working, blowing the fuse to the room (lights, fan, etc) it was in. After that the belt no longer worked. After more calls to customer service it was determined that something was wrong with the motor. The part was ordered and we had to wait while it arrived. Then we had to contact the service repairman to let him know the part was there and schedule a time for him to come fix it. This whole ordering the part and setting up a fixing time took another three weeks. I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the repairman, but unfortunately, once he looked at the machine he quickly figured out it was not in fact the motor, but was the electronic board inside the treadmill that wasn’t working. He placed an order for this part and we started the waiting game again of waiting for the part to arrive and scheduling another time for him to come out. Yesterday he came again and we finally got the machine working! I’m excited to have it up and running, but nervous that something will happen again! A brand new machine shouldn’t need that much work! We bought this machine August 2nd. It was finally running on November 30th. And though I really do love this machine when it is running, 1 star is all I can give for this machine that has so far mostly been an incredibly large paper weight. If there is a positive in all of this, it is customer service. Customer service has always been helpful and kind. We haven’t talked to anyone yet who didn’t seem both knowledgeable and caring, which is a hard combination to come by. I’ve been very impressed every time we have to call, and it’s been a lot! It’s just the machine itself that has proven to be a $3,000 disappointment, and I could not in my right mind recommend this headache to anyone.

So I purchased this product in September of 2020, like most of you our Gym was closed so I was looking for a high quality product that I could use on a regular basis. Everything seemed good at first, the tread arrived on time and was easy enough to assemble but unfortunately the last three weeks have been a nightmare. I really enjoy the streaming videos but starting about 3 weeks ago my tablet started buffering and became unusable. I've tried everything that I can think of including reconfiguring my wireless network, resetting the tablet to factory settings etc. Nothing has worked. The customer support at Nordictrack is useless. They are yet to reach out to me proactively and they continue to blame my network. Mind you I'm running Gig Internet and I'm streaming all over the house with zero issues. I've had two of the reps I've spoken with admin that they are tired, overworked and short staffed. Here's the best part. I bought a Peloton bike around the same time and it's literally sitting next to my tread and it never ever buffers. Same type of tablet and it's running three times the speed that the tread tablet is running at. It's obviously a problem that the Nordictrack reps don't want to have to deal with so today I'm returning this thing and buying a Peloton tread. After all, I've been running the Peloton tread workouts on the TV in my garage for the last three weeks (off of my Wifes bike account through a Roku stick) and they are fantastic. And they never buffer by the way.
