Perfect! I wear a size 9 and bought the women's size large (Darco Ref: MQW3B) and it works perfectly. It is the exact same shoe the podiatrist gave me to wear for a toe broken in two places while it is healing and to protect the foot which it does well. I needed another to wear when going outdoors to keep carpets clean. Perfect fit and easy to walk.

Exactly as described and expected! Great fit, all good.

Note: Go to DARCO’s website and look at size chart before ordering. Nice surgical shoe. More presentable than other styles - more like a regular sandal. Seems to be made well. However, the sizing is totally off as others have mentioned. I am a women’s 9-9.5 and my toes are spilling over the tops of the shoes. This must be Chinese sizing. Returning for larger size which would be a men’s Medium. Hope that works.

I actually got compliments from my friends how good this walking shoe looks; and it's very comfortable and easy to put on.

After fracturing the 5th metatarsal bone in my foot, I needed a rigid shoe, referred to as a post op or fracture shoe, since the clinic didn’t have my size. I ordered this shoe from Amazon, based on the description and reviews, especially reviews of other shoes. This post op shoe has a rigid bottom and grippy sole, something reviews of other brands noted as an issue. The sole grips well and does not slip even on tile or cement. The Velcro straps are easy to adjust and apply and can accommodate a wide or narrow foot. I wear a size 9 shoe and purchased a woman’s large, shown in the photo. It fits perfectly for my needs but if you need this for support after toe surgery a size larger might be needed to give more length in the toe area. The ankle strap is just a tad long for my narrow ankle but works fine and would be perfect for a large or swollen ankle and foot. I’m very happy with this shoe fit and quality, plus it was less expensive than many similar other brands. Perfect choice!

This is not a fit for a sized 10 womens foot as described. I ordered the Womens large and my big toe hangs beyond the front of the shoe. I had ordered this similar product years ago and it fit perfectly. I actually just reordered it from my account. Unfortunately the item is not returnable so I am stuck with it

I read all the bad reviews and almost didn't order this. I don't know why it has bad reviews. I find the shoe comfortable and it provides great protection for my broken toe. I've had no issues with it falling apart or being low quality. I've washed it twice by hand and it has held up fine. It's easily adjustable to your foot width. I'm so glad I ordered it. For $20 you can't beat it. I don't even want to know how much one would have cost from my doctor's office. Probably $300+.
