Magnetic connection to chimney flue not strong enough

The media could not be loaded.  This works great on my stove as it has a stone surround and my other fan won’t work. Starts fast and is ultra quiet. Very happy with this item.

We have fitted it and the heat turns the propellor, however not really sure its enough to move the heat around the room. Possibly as it fastens to the flue and not situated on top of the wood burner. We cant use the other type as the wood burner doesn't have a flat top.

This item is a waste of money and doesn't start up until a good fire is going as you can see from the picture also return window has closed so no chance of a refund

Does a great job distributing the heat around the room

I have the magnetic flue version, and it does stick to the flue with ugly oversized jubilee clip required. It does spin and spins faster as the flue gets hotter, the only problem is it is wholle ineffectual at moving air. I place an anemometer right next to it which failed to turn/register any air movement. Placing a hand next to the fan and I can't feel any air movement. I did detect a very slight air movement with a piece of A4 copier paper however, holding this directly in front of the fan it was possible to observe a very slight deflection in angle it was at - perhaps 10 degree off vertical....The "fan" does provide a semi useful visual indication of temperature of the flue though it's worth pointing out there are thermometers for this that are much cheaper. As a fan however it fails in it's most basic of duties - to move a noticeable volume of air. I'll probably try to bend the blades to increase the amount of air it moves, time will tell if this is an effective strategy. In all honesty - it's a waste of space, your money would likely be better spent elsewhere.

Sono parzialmente soddisfatto dell'acquisto perché a mio modesto parere l'oggetto pur funzionando perfettamente non ha "portata" volumetrica d'aria calda pertanto nel mio caso non "muove" una quantità sufficiente d'aria calda tale da essere percepita e "utilizzata" a migliorare la circolazione. A mio modesto parere l'aria in aspirazione e uscita andrebbe "canalizzata" magari inserendo la ventola in un tubo adeguato! Non so' se mi sono spiegato, ma ho esperienza fatta sul tubo scarico fumi di una stufa a metano con una ventola di 100 mm di diametro posta nella parte posteriore ovvero spinge l'aria fredda che passa attraverso lo scambiatore che aumenta la superficie del tubo scarico fumi ed il risultato è eccezionale! The media could not be loaded.  Das Gerät ist sehr einfach zu montieren. Der Magnet ist dabei wirklich hilfreich, weil man beide Hände frei hat. Im Betrieb dauert es einige Zeit bis sich der Ventilator zu drehen beginnt, da sich alles erst aufheizen muss. Der Ventilator läuft lautlos. Der Luftstrom ist zwar schwach, aber in ca. 2 m noch fühlbar.Mir hilft es die Wärme besser im Raum zu verteilen.
