My son is 12 and neither of these are issues and to be honest for packing and handling in services the smaller size is a plus for me.

Perfect travel Bible!!!
I love everything about this Bible. 1. The design and protection of the zipped cover. 2. The font and overall size. 3. It can fit in all my small purses, backpacks and the glove compartment of my car. 4. I don't have to carry my bigger Bible out the house anymore. 5. Cute little bible for a young man!!
Cute little bible for a young man. I got for my son who was going on a church retreat. It is well constructed and no need for a case with the zipper closer. Good size travel Bible
Good travel Bible, got it for camping, the cover seems like it'll protect it well, size is about as big as my hand, maybe a little bigger, perfect for throwing in my hiking backpack

Very nice , very small Bible
Nice small bible. Text is tiny and I wouldn’t pick this one if I didn’t have good vision . I do wish it had a bookmark ribbon attached .

Loved the zipper feather
Bought this as a gift. Recipient loved the zipper feature as she would be carrying it in her purse and this would keep it from damage. The cover design is unique and the translation easy to understand. Great little bible!

Favorite
It's my favorite bible because it fits in my fanny pack and is light weight. I love the zippered protecting case. I wish it had a string bookmark attached but its not a big deal. Good quality.

Perfect for taking everywhere with me
Better than I expected! A "true" compact bible. Not stiff but also not flimsy. I love how the case protects the bible pages. It does in purses, backpacks, and in small spaces of a car.

Beautiful bible
Very handy and compact sized bible. Print size is fine for people with normal eyesight and youngsters . Only drawback is that the cover material has a slightly faded look since its grey and prone to scratches. Everything else suits the description

great translation, written in a good readable size and protected by the stylish cover with zipper. I love it! Highly recommended.

Great
cover in fabric so no more Bibles slipping to the floor with my wonky hands. Print small but I am able to read it. NLT is great for an easy read Bible I love it lovely to have a zip as I can keep bits of paper in it and I don't loose them. I would highly recommend it but be careful if you have trouble viewing smallish print.

I love my beautiful bible that is so easy to read and understand as it is NLT so no thou's and thus and words from 300 years ago . The text however is very small but not impossible to read. What I really love about it though is the beautiful canvas cover and the zip to keep any notes in . it truly is a joy.
