I have a Lumina 550, and it works perfectly. My guess is that others will too.

I need a strap that holds a taillight on the rear of my helmet for greater visibility during the day. Suggestions?

This strap is designed for a forward facing helmet lamp. If you need a taillamp for your helmet look at the compact ones that are designed to strap to the seat post. They use a rubber/elastic strap and should easily adapt to a helmet.

Does it work with full face helmets?

Only if the helmet has vent slots for the mounting straps. Otherwise it’s best to use a stick-on mount.
