The book is filled with basic farming information and I find it quite good for starters. I seriously recommend this for people who would like to venture in the growing fish farming as this guide can walk you through the detailed steps, in-depth explanations of getting to know the business and what you can choose to keep in your farm. I like the parts where Kenn Christenson carefully distinguished the information about knowing how to handle and take good care of the fishes. Over-all I really liked and it was a pleasure reading this book.

After reading this book, I just realized that I can grow fish in my own backyard. Indeed, it is great! The book explains everything you need to start an aquaponic garden. It also has illustrations that enhance your understanding on how to start culturing fish in your own backyard. So, if you are planning to start a project in your own backyard, this book is a practical option to begin with.

This book is okay if it is the first book you've ever read on the subject. If you've read other works or are already familiar with the concepts of growing fish in water and plants in soilless medium, however, you won't find any new information here. The same information is available online for free; this book saves you the trouble of looking for it.

This book read like a high school student's notes from internet research on the subjects of aquaponics and fish farming. There were some obvious typos and it was a very basic generalization of the fields. Very disappointed. I already had the info doing a ten minute Google search.

I received this collection with discount for my honest review.And I'm really happy about it because I was always interested in this type of external decorations.Aquaponic is a collection of different outside structures where the water intervene. But it is much more complex than making a hole and fill it with water. These books explain in simple words how you can transform your backyard into something completely different. Simple structures where you can have water plants, fish or just give it another style to the backyard.One thing I really liked was that if you are unaware of this topic, the author explains everything you need to know from a brief introduction about the fish you can breed and even how to create the perfect environment to keep them healthy.This book is not short, I'm warning you. It would take time to read it and if you are planning to put it into practice, you should read it a few times because the author has been very detailed (which is good) and gives exact instructions for you to succeed with your Aquaponic changes.

this is a fine book I am Glad I had it sent to me in the UK because now I have very little to read on this Amazon fire Tablet Just because I moved to an other Europen country!

Very much an introduction, for me it needed more dertail. I know my aquatics but reading the guide does not really give me enough information to feel confident in having a go. I had a lot of unanswered questions.A better idea of equipment and some diagrams would have been extremely useful, the information given is good and relevant but I just feel its a little lacking.
