BAD PACKAGING
So I really like the actual product, but I am very annoyed with the delivery of the 6 bottles. Thankfully they were in a plastic bag in the box, but 3 bottles were open is some manner. This means that there was leaking all over the inside of the bag. Then to top off the annoyance ONE of the bottle's tops was completely off, and the entire contents was spilled out. So instead of 6 bottles I really only had 5. It seemed as I pulled all the bottles out the bag and box, that NONE of the lids were tighten properly. As I said, one was completely off, one almost off, and one lid with the flip cap open.I have ordered this product before as a single item, and it was leaking then too. I had hoped it was a one off, but it seems to be a consistent problem. I have photos of what opened to see, but don't know where to post or who to send to for review.

I use it because it’s Green, I buy it because it works.
Love this stuff, it makes the house smell clean. I poured some in one of my bathtubs drains that runs rust colored water when it’s first turned on. And unexpectedly it got rid of the rust colored water!!! I use another Bio-Clean product also.

Might Help Keep Drains from Accumulating Materials That Clog
Been using this product to help keep the toilet, tub, and sinks around the house from clogging. We have old plumbing. I pour in half a cup or so once a week. We were having some problem with the new low-flush toilet clogging from just normal use. I found that letting some of the drain care gel sit in the toilet for a few hours helps get things moving again, provided it's just normal use, not a real clog. (Murphy's oil soap also works well.) So I've been using the Bac-out to try to prevent a buildup in all old drains and pipes. We still have to resort to Draino a couple times a year for tougher build up. Also vinegar plus baking soda (big bags available on Amazon) is also helpful. I dislike these low-water toilets.

Great product but loose caps a big issue
I love this product but like other review my package had loose caps and it was a mess. Luckily most of the bottles were ok, but I still lost a bottle equivalent of product because of open cap. Better packaging would be helpful.

Want to give it 3 1/2 stars.
First of all, I did not get 6 bottles of the Biokleen Bac-out--only received 4 bottles. I've already used 2 bottles and am on the third. I initially had the drains cleaned by a professional and was told not to use a certain toilet tissue. Since we had a lot of that tissue leftover, I began to use the Bac-out to ensure the enzymes would break up whatever was in the lines. We have three bathrooms on the same drain line. We also have had problems with our kitchen sink, which is connected to the washer drain line. Of late, our drains still get clogged even with the Bac-out maintenance. When I put in the Bac-out, the next two or three days the water seems to go down fast and smooth, but toward the end of the week, it doesn't flow so good. It's almost as if I had bathed a hairy dog in my tub, but our dogs get a bath outdoors. I know what you're thinking...perhaps the folks using the bathroom are hairy. Sorry, that's not the case. If you want to know if I'd purchase more, sure if I can get 6 bottles.

Bad packaging
Product was recommended by plumbing service and it works great. Problem is with the containers of the chemical inside the bag they were packaged in. Lids were loose and chemical spilled out inside box.

Saved me from paying a plumber for a slow drain on dishwasher
I'm giving this 5 stars because it saved me paying for plumber. My drain valve on dishwasher got clogged with grease so my dishwasher would never completely empty.... Gross! You can't use much in dishwashers without ruining them. I poured a whole bottle in my dishwasher via the drain valve (I pulled the grey cap next to my faucet and poorer it down and watched it fill into dishwasher). Let it sit overnight. Turned up my hot water tank then ran dishwasher. It emptied! I went ahead and used one more bottle in the same fashion just to be safe. Now, I poor a 1/4 cup into drain valve once a month. Everything runs great.

Use this regularly - won't be as effective once a drain is truly clogged
Biokleen Bac-out Drain Care Gel is good to use before or when a drain starts to slow down. Unfortunately, I found from experience that once the drain is clogged it isn't as effective. Now I try to remember to use it periodically to prevent a buildup in the drains, especially to keep the soap scum, toothpaste, and hair from building up in the bathroom drains. You pour it in before going to bed so it sits in the drain overnight and rinse it through in the morning. So far this seems to be working well.
